I provide care exclusively in my clients' homes, where pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and maintain their normal routines. I know that every pet is unique, and I take the time to learn their schedule, preferences, and personality to make their time away from you as stress-free as possible. As a pet owner myself, I understand that some pets can be anxious, reactive, or take a little longer to warm up to new people. I'm patient, attentive, and respectful of each pet's individual needs, whether that means energetic playtime, quiet companionship, or simply sticking closely to their routine. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, cared for, and loved while you're away, and to give you peace of mind through regular updates and photos.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs before I arrive. Examples: must sleep under the covers, requires exactly three treats before bedtime, insists on watching birds from a specific window, prefers their water served in the blue bowl (never the red one), or believes they are, in fact, a tiny furry CEO. 😄 The more I know about your pet's quirks, routines, and preferences, the better I can make them feel comfortable, happy, and right at home while you're away.
A typical day
The activities I do with your pet will depend on their personality, energy level, and preferences. For active dogs, that may mean walks, playtime, fetch, or plenty of opportunities to explore and burn off energy. For more relaxed pets, it could be cuddle time, gentle play, and companionship. I also enjoy providing enrichment through toys, games, and one-on-one attention to help keep pets mentally stimulated while you're away. For cats, that might mean interactive wand toys, laser play, or simply spending quality time together if they're the social type. Most importantly, I follow your pet's routine and comfort level. Whether they love adventure or prefer a cozy nap on the couch, my goal is to make sure they're happy, engaged, and feeling loved until you return home.

Meagan stayed in my home for a week while I was away and took wonderful care of my very needy french bulldog and my two Persian cats. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Meagan. She’s cared for my dogs, and as someone who is ridiculously attached to them, that’s not trust I give easily. She loves animals with her whole heart and treats them like they’re her own. Whether it’s making sure they’re cared for, loved on, played with, or just getting extra cuddles, she goes above and beyond every time. My dogs absolutely love her, and that tells me everything I need to know. Animals seem to gravitate toward her because she’s naturally patient, kind, and attentive.
