Obsessed with big fluffy dogs!
I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs for most of my life. I’ve grown up around dogs of various breeds such as GSD, collies, and golden retrievers. My childhood dog lived long enough he began developing hip issues so I am well versed in caring for dogs who have special health needs. I’ve been dog sitting for awhile now and am comfortable with staying overnight if that is something you’re interested in! I’ve also dog sat for a dog whose back legs were paralyzed and am happy to assist your pup if they struggle with issues like that! Additionally I work at a doggy daycare (with boarding services) so I am around almost every breed you could think of and am well versed in medication dispersion as well as basic care. With all that being said, I am absolutely obsessed with big dogs (even Great Danes and St Bernards:)) but I am happy to work with dogs of any size! Also I am not scared of trying to work with a dog for them to be comfortable around me if they’re skittish at first.

Meagan was really great! She came and stayed in our home with our pups. We could not have asked for better care. She is very responsive, kind, compassionate and experienced in caring for animals. The day before our trip to Europe one of our pups ended up at the emergency vet with gastroenteritis, she was having uncontrollable diarrhea. This required a modified diet, extra care and medication for the week that we would be gone. I called Meagan and explained the situation, she did not skip a beat! She was very reassuring that she would take great care of our Zoey, I felt very confident and relieved that she would give the best care, and she absolutely did!! We will for sure reach out to Meagan again in the future. We highly recommend Megan.
Meagan was the best dog sitter I’ve ever had - seriously. Usually my dog gets sad when I’m gone and refuses to go for walks. But from Meagan’s pictures and updates, my dog seemed in great spirits the whole week. Not to mention, she treated my home with such care. Highly recommend Meagan & will certainly be hiring her again in the future :)
Meagan was amazing with our dogs! She took great care of our kiddos and sent tons of pictures, which we loved. We would definitely recommend her for anyone needing someone trustworthy to watch their pets while on vacation!

Meagan is a true dog lover! She has lovingly cared for dogs the past 6 years. She did a wonderful job with our aging Collie and helping him up/downstairs. She is not afraid of special need dogs and is trustworthy. She has dog/house set multiple times with no issues/concerns. Hire Meagan, you won’t regret it!

Schedule
I currently work roughly around 35 hour weeks at the doggy daycare, so I would need to work around my work schedule which typically varies week to week, but I am happy to work out any schedule issues as they arise! I often use my lunch break to care for your pup if that is needed. I am typically fully available on weekends as I only work on weekdays.

Safety, trust & environment
I have two dogs and three cats at home so caring for your dog in your home would be a necessity. I am comfortable staying overnight or visiting late at night/early in the morning depending on your wishes. I love keeping the parents updated and can promise multiple pictures per day if you’re gone for a while! I prioritize sticking as close to your usual schedule as possible for your dogs so they can keep a sense of normalcy while you’re away.

A typical day
I love going for long walks and I am always looking for new places to walk with them. I also love playing fetch/tug or whatever they like to play. If that’s not something your dog is interested in I always do what they love and would love any input from you!
