We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter than Mckenzie! This was the very first time we had ever left our 1-year-old puppy, Nyla, with anyone, so naturally we were a little nervous. From the moment we met Mckenzie, she made us feel completely at ease. While my family and I were out of the country for an entire week, Mckenzie kept in constant communication, sending us daily updates and adorable photos of Nyla. Seeing her enjoying multiple walks each day, playing, and looking so happy gave us so much peace of mind. Mckenzie truly went above and beyond our expectations. It's clear she genuinely cares for the pets she watches and treats them like family. Nyla absolutely loved her, and we know she'll be excited to stay with Mckenzie again the next time we travel. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medication if needed, and lots of attention and affection. In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure pets feel secure in their familiar environment while keeping owners updated with photos and messages. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality and needs, whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer a calm and quiet atmosphere.

A typical day
I love keeping pets active, happy, and entertained based on their personality and energy level. I enjoy going on walks, playing fetch or tug-of-war, giving plenty of cuddle time, and making sure they get lots of attention throughout the day. For more energetic pets, I’m happy to do longer walks and play sessions, while calmer or older pets can enjoy relaxing company and gentle care. I also enjoy spending quality time with pets so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while their owners are away.
