Pet care is part of my daily routine because I’m currently working full-time through Rover, which means I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. Your pet won’t be left alone for long periods, and I make sure to structure my day around feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and relaxation time so they stay comfortable and happy while you’re away. I truly love spending time with animals, so caring for them doesn’t feel like work to me, it’s something I genuinely enjoy and take seriously. My goal is always to make sure pets feel safe, loved, and at home.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they are closely supervised and kept on their normal routine for feeding, walks, and playtime so they feel relaxed and secure. I love spending time outdoors with dogs for walks, exercise, and playtime, but I always make sure pets are leashed and safely supervised when outside. My yard is currently not fenced in, so I prioritize safe neighborhood walks and structured outdoor time to keep pets active and happy. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with the same respect and care I would want for my own home, while making sure their pets stick to the routines they’re used to. Communication is also very important to me, so I’m happy to follow any special instructions and provide regular updates and photos so owners feel confident their pets are safe and well cared for.

Before caring for a pet, I always like to learn as much as possible about their routine and needs. Important things for me to know include any allergies, medications, dietary restrictions, behavioral quirks, or special needs your pet may have. I also like to know their feeding schedule, favorite toys or activities, how they do on walks, and anything that helps them feel comfortable in a new environment. I have about 6 years of experience administering medications to both dogs and cats, including oral medications and treatments for ears and eyes, so I’m comfortable handling those situations if needed. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for just like they would at home.

A typical day with me includes lots of attention, playtime, and keeping your pet on their usual routine so they feel comfortable and happy. Mornings usually start with potty breaks, breakfast, and some playtime or a walk to get their energy out. Throughout the day I like to mix in walks, outdoor time, belly rubs, and playing with their favorite toys. If the weather is nice, we’ll spend time outside enjoying the sunshine and getting exercise together. If it’s raining or cold, we’ll keep the fun going indoors with toys, games, and lots of cuddles and attention. My goal is always to make sure pets feel loved, entertained, and relaxed while their owners are away.
