I have a dog of my own who is 9 years old, so I’m very comfortable being around and caring for dogs. He is treat-trained, crate-trained, and potty trained, which has taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. I genuinely love animals and especially love dogs, and I enjoy spending time with them—whether that’s playing, going for walks, or just keeping them company. I always make sure dogs feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.

When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I always focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. I follow each dog’s routine closely, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, and crate time, to help them feel secure and at ease. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are always secure, and I keep a close eye on dogs at all times. I respect my clients’ homes and their rules, and I treat every pet as if they were my own—with patience, love, and attention—so owners can feel confident their dog is in good hands.

I had a great experience with our McKenzie! She dropped in to spend time with my puppy Barrett, and it was clear right away how comfortable and natural she is with dogs. She gave my pup plenty of attention, playtime, and care, which made a big difference in keeping him happy and stimulated while we were away. She was reliable and communicative! The best Rover experience I’ve had. I had peace of mind knowing Barrett was in good hands. I’ll definitely be booking with her routinely again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and great with dogs.

I have known McKenzie her whole life. She is truly one of the most caring, conscientiousness, and amazing people I know. She has two younger sisters she has always been there for when needed and a dog she's very attentive and helpful with taking care of. A pet owner would be lucky to have her care for their pet.

Schedule
I’m a student and collegiate athlete at Aquinas College, and my schedule gives me free time during the middle of the day throughout the week, as well as various times on the weekends. This allows me to be flexible and available for walks, potty breaks, check-ins, and quality time with your dog. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and make sure they get consistent care and attention.
