Information Mckenzie B. would like to know about your pet
It’s very important for me to know each pet’s personality, routines, and any special needs to ensure the safety of the pet, myself, and anyone else who may come into contact with them. Here are some questions to consider: General Info (All Visits): -Is your pet comfortable with new people or visitors? -Does your pet try to bolt, escape, or slip out of doors, gates, or leashes? -Are there other pets in the home, and how do they get along? -Does your pet have any health concerns, sensitivities, or special needs? -Are there any habits, routines, or favorite spots that help them feel secure? -What is your pet’s favorite way to spend time — cuddles, toys, exploring, or quiet observation? -Are there any quirks, triggers, or behaviors I should know about to ensure their safety and comfort? I need to know if your pets are runners or are escape artists, so I can take proper precautions to prevent them from running away or getting into unsafe situations. I also need to know any behaviors that could pose a risk, such as fearfulness, aggression, or sensitivity to visitors, so I can manage the visit safely and confidently. Drop-in specific questions: -Are there areas of the home they should not go or access during the visit? -Any special instructions for litter boxes, potty areas, or clean-up? -Are there toys, treats, or comfort items I should use or avoid? Walk-specific questions: -Does your dog pull, tug, or stop frequently on the leash? -How does your dog react to other dogs, animals, or people during walks? -Are there any areas or situations that make your dog nervous, reactive, or excited? -Does your dog have any mobility issues, health concerns, or limitations I should accommodate? -Are there specific routes, parks, or areas you prefer I use or avoid? For walks, it is essential for me to know if they tug on the leash, are reactive to other animals, or react differently to certain people. This information allows me to plan walks safely, avoid accidents, and maintain complete control while protecting both the dog and anyone nearby. Clear and detailed communication about a pet’s behavior and habits is critical to providing responsible care and ensuring everyone’s safety at all times.

Pet care experience
I am a lifelong pet lover with experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages. I volunteer regularly at a local animal shelter and truly believe animals make the world softer and brighter. Last year, I lost my best friend: my cat, Tim (He's the orange kitty in my photos). Loving him taught me just how deep and sacred the bond between people and their pets really is. Because of that, caring for animals isn’t something I take lightly. I know that when you leave your pet with someone, you’re trusting them with a member of your family. Every visit I provide is intentional, patient, and full of genuine affection. Whether I’m caring for an energetic puppy, a shy rescue, or a senior cat who just wants a quiet presence, I meet them where they are. I treat every pet as if they were Tim, with gentleness, respect, and the kind of love that pays attention to the little things. My goal is simple: that your pet feels safe and cared for, and that you feel completely at ease while you’re away. ABOUT ME: -Actress and medical biller -Recently graduated from UVU with a BFA in Theatre Arts -Active and love to dance 💃 -Engaged to the love of my life 💍 -Bookworm and writer -Grew up as a military child -Lifelong cat lover; experience caring for playful pups, senior dogs, and a blind senior dog -Passionate about creating calm, loving, and safe experiences for every pet

Absolutely amazing! I loved the super detailed notes of the visits and all the pictures she took. It gave me such peace of mind during my trip knowing my kitty was in good hands!
Mckenzie is AMAZING with my cats!! She treats them as her own. I have one that is very clingy and has a bit of separation anxiety, and Mckenzie went above and beyond and spent so much time with her. She loves and cares about them as much as I do! I will ONLY be hiring Mckenzie (as long as she’s available) for my cats. I can’t recommend her enough!
I cannot recommend her enough! She took care of my cat Deme while I was out of town for about a week and a half, and she went above and beyond in every way! Not only did she make sure Deme was fed and had fresh water every day, but she also truly spent quality time with him. She played with him, gave him lots of pets and attention, and made sure he wasn’t lonely while I was gone. She also sent me regular update photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear from the pictures (and from how relaxed Deme was when I got home) that he felt safe, happy, and loved the entire time. Deme absolutely adores her, and that says everything! She is reliable, caring, attentive, and genuinely loves animals. I would trust her again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone amazing to care for their pets!
