I’m probably someone who does a little too much research to make sure every detail is right—whether it’s proper walking manners, keeping pets safe in different temperatures, or understanding the best foods and treats for their health. I want you to feel confident that your furry family member is in knowledgeable, caring hands and that their environment is always secure, comfortable, and loving.

To make sure I give your pet the best care possible, please share the following details with me: • Feeding Schedule & Diet: What times do they eat? How much do they get? Are there any dietary restrictions or allergies? • Treats: Do they get treats? If so, what kind, how many per day, and when? • Behavior or Temperament Notes: Any behavior issues I should be aware of (e.g., separation anxiety, resource guarding, reactivity, fear of certain things, etc.)? • Medical Info: Any current or past illnesses I should know about? Do they take any medications or supplements? If so, please include dosage and schedule. • Vaccination Status: Are they up to date on all required vaccines (especially rabies, DHPP, and bordetella for dogs)? • Quirks or Unique Habits: Every pet has their own personality—tell me if there’s anything I should know to help them feel comfortable (e.g., scared of storms, needs to be tucked in, doesn’t like the mailman, needs ice cubes in their water etc.). • Walk Preferences: How do they do on walks? Do they pull on the leash or get reactive to other dogs, people, squirrels, etc.? • Social Behavior: Are they good with other animals or people we might pass on a walk or encounter in a public space? • Favorite Toys, Games, or Activities: What do they love to do for fun? Favorite toy? Do they enjoy tug, fetch, nose work, or just a cozy cuddle? The more I know, the better I can tailor their care to make sure they’re happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. A typical day
A typical day with me as your pet sitter is filled with love, play, and personalized care! I make sure your pet gets all the attention they need—from walks and outdoor time to belly rubs and couch cuddles. I love staying active with dogs, so we’ll play fetch, tug-of-war, or whatever their favorite game is. I’m also big on mental stimulation, so puzzle toys, treat games, and learning new tricks are all on the table. I’ll follow your usual routines to keep your dog comfortable and happy, whether that means sticking to a feeding schedule, practicing commands, or snuggling up for a movie night. And yes, I absolutely talk to your pet like they’re a person (because let’s be honest, they are). Some say it’s extra… I say I speak fluent dog 🐾😉 If your dog has special needs, quirks, or routines—just let me know! I’m happy to tailor our time together to whatever makes them feel most at home.

I’m the kind of sitter who loves your pets like family—because to me, they are. I’ve cared for animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, and I’m always learning more about their behavior so I can give them the best, most thoughtful care. I’m patient, playful, and love building trust with each animal I meet. When I’m babysitting, once the kid is in bed, I usually end up curled up with the family pet (not saying who I like more—that wouldn’t be fair). And if I ever disappear at someone’s house, you can bet I’ve found the pet and made a new best friend. Whether it’s walks, snuggles, structure, or quiet company, I’m here to make your pet feel safe, loved, and completely at home.

Amazing! She did so well with my crazy 1 year old puppy
Great dog and home caretaker! We were out of the country on vacation and had a snowstorm and home plumbing issue while we were gone. McKenzi was a champ and handled it all and kept our dog happy and healthy throughout.
Mckenzi was great!! She had to be flexible to adjust to a few last minute plan changes. She was responsive and sent daily pics of our little guy. We really appreciate her and will definitely use her again.
Responsive and took care of my cat as instructed even getting her to come out of her shell more than expected.
