I've grown up with 2 family dogs and I have also dog-sit for many other friends and family over the years. The tasks I have been assigned with while cat-sitting for others have been: ▪️checking-in: making sure there is food and water available ▪️cleaning up any accidents or vomit (My dog Callie would pee every time she got excited so I know some tricks to help clean it up!) ▪️Usually have been asked to stay and give their dogs company/play with them and tire them out ▪️Before leaving I make sure no plastic, broken toy pieces or other choking hazards left on the floor

I am an advocate of making sure a pets needs are met and safety is also present in care. This looks like putting away choking hazards for the pets before I leave, and I also typically make sure they still have access to food and water (unless there's other specific instructions!).

I’ve had McKensie cat sit for me a couple times and they have done everything I’ve instructed perfectly! They’re very respectful of cat’s personal space and boundaries. Additionally, one time they were over while my family dog had a medical emergency and McKensie was incredibly knowledgable and helpful during the whole ordeal. Lightning (family dog) was unfortunately scared and McKensie was very good at comforting her until we could get professional help. All in all McKensie is a huge animal lover, very well researched, and very precise in following instructions for care. Highly recommend!
I have hired McKensie to care for all four of my cats for years now. Sometimes it'll be for a weekend and sometimes it will be for a week. During each vacation, McKensie gave my family peace of mind since we knew our cats were in good hands. I highly recommend!
