Hi there! My name is McKenna, and I've grown up surrounded by both dogs and cats, so caring for animals is something that has always come naturally to me. In 2023, I adopted a now 6-year-old rescue dog who, at first, was a bit unsure of new people and places. Over time, he’s become more confident and playful, and together, we've had the chance to travel to many places. I understand that each pet has its own unique personality, and I take pride in creating a safe, comfortable environment where they can feel at ease. Whether it’s daily walks or check-ins, I’m dedicated to providing your furry friend with the care and attention they deserve!

McKenna was absolutely wonderful with Mick! From the moment I dropped him off, I knew he was in great hands. She was incredibly communicative and personable throughout his stay, keeping me updated and sending plenty of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. One of the things I appreciated most was how active and engaged she was with him. She took Mick to the park every day, making sure he got plenty of exercise (even on rainy days), enrichment, and fun. It was clear from the photos and updates that he was happy, comfortable, and genuinely enjoying himself. McKenna went above and beyond to make sure Mick was well cared for, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive Rover sitter. Thank you, McKenna! 🐾❤️

Schedule
I have traditional work hours, off at 4pm, half days on Fridays, and I have weekends off. I am available for one time check-ins or a consistent routine.

With my patient and gentle approach, I allow dogs to take the lead when appropriate, respecting their pace and comfort level. Whether it's walking, check-ins, or simply providing companionship, I ensure that each pet feels secure, loved, and well cared for. My goal is to create a safe and nurturing environment where your furry friend feels happy and at ease. You can trust that your pets are in capable hands when I'm with them!
Pets
A typical day
I truly enjoy taking dogs on walks where they can explore and indulge in all the wonderful scents around them. I prioritize walking at their pace, ensuring they feel comfortable and relaxed. Additionally, I offer intentional cuddles and pets to make them feel loved and cared for throughout our time together. If there is something your pet really enjoys, I will be happy to engage them with that activity. Also, I have a dog of my own that I can bring to give some social interaction (I do not have to bring my dog!)
