I am currently in school but taking online classes so I can take my schoolwork wherever I go! I am looking for a part-time job but don’t have one at the moment so I am very flexible with my time.

I live in a small house by myself. It is part of a duplex that I share with my mom. She is aware that I will be watching peoples pets on the premises and we both own our own pets, so we are very aware of the risks such as pet hair and accidents. We share a fenced back yard that is pretty large. It is about a quarter of an acre. I have one cat and she is very friendly with other animals. I used to live on a farm with her so she is used to other furry friends.

Let me know if your animal has any special needs that I need to attend to. I am willing to administer oral medication! I don't have experience administering injected medication or caring for dogs with disabilities but I am more than willing to learn and I am great at following clear directions. I'm not shy with animals, so learning those skills is not out of my comfort zone.
A typical day
Like humans, dogs need daily exercise and time outside. I am more than happy to take dogs out for whatever length of a walk they need as well as play fetch! I grew up with a very high energy dog who needed her play time! It is very important.

Pet care experience
I've always had a huge heart for animals and taking care of things in general. I've taken care of my own animals since I was 8 or 9 years old and did 4H for 4 years. Family and friends always had me as there pet sitter because not only was I attentive and took good care of their animals, but I absolutely loved doing it! I'm up for any challenge and any type of animal and I promise to take excellent care of them. I have a couple cats of my own and am very close with my moms dogs who live next door!

McKenna has on and off taken care of our Goldendoodle Maxine!! We trust her completely!! Maxine loves her and it is VERY evident how comfortable she is around animals. McKenna’s personality is also amazing, she is so kind and friendly! I highly recommend her!!
