Hello! My name is McKenna, and I'm an 24 year old gal who has always had a passion for loving and working with animals. I have 9 years of pet sitting experience, as I've been pet sitting since I was fifteen years old, and haven't stopped since. I love animals of any size or personality or quirk - they're all worthy of love and attention in my eyes! I have a soft spot in my heart for big dogs because my grandparents had great danes while I was growing up, but I absolutely adore dogs (or cats) of any size and look forward to meeting yours! I also have worked as a Veterinarian Assistant in the past, so I am comfortable administering medications and such.

I have been staying at people's houses to pet sit since I was fifteen, and have gotten used to existing respectfully in someone else's space. I never invite people over to the house I'm pet sitting at, and I always try and make it as clean as it was when you left before I leave. I always take as many photos as I can and try to leave a detailed note on the drop in report card detailing my activity and tasks completed during the drop in.

You’re seriously the best dog and house sitter anyone could ask for!! You go above and beyond for not only me and what I ask for the furry babies but you treat them like your own. I’ve been across country twice now and McKenna is the only person I fully trust with both of my tom cats ❤️ TY!!!

Would highly recommend McKenna and will definitely be using her from now on. Even before our trip McKenna came over a few times to hang out with the pets and get to know them putting us and them at ease. She sent the best reports everyday she dropped in and included pictures! The best part, we came home to happy cats 🫶🏼McKenna really went above and beyond for our family and put us at ease and that is priceless. Thank you McKenna!!!

My anxious dog is usually afraid of strangers but she warms up to McKenna so fast. McKenna is always a great sitter, very reliable and communicative. Will book again.

Schedule
I am currently a full time graduate student at East Tennessee State University, and a Graduate Assistant on campus as well to fund my education. I recently have made the difficult decision to stop house sitting due to my upcoming school schedule where I have a 20 hour a week internship, 20 hour a week graduate assistantship, and classes on top of that. I am still making myself available for drop ins because those require less time of me and generally have a bit more flexibility overall. All previously booked house sitting prior to this change will be honored and completed. If you are still interested in having me as a pet sitter with these limitations, please feel free to check with me and we will see if we can make it work with my schedule! I apologize for any inconveniences with the change in services I can provide.
