Dog lover in LoDo!
Hi my name is McKenna! I work at an environmental nonprofit, and have a remote position that allows me to be at home while taking care of your pet. I live with my boyfriend Stepp, and together we share the responsibility of looking after and caring for your pup (: I grew up with dogs in the house, including a lab mix named Hunter who was a rescue, and a landseer Newfoundland named Niika, and shared the responsibility of looking after both of them with my brothers. Stepp grew up with a German Shepard mixed named Cobra. I began watching dogs through Rover five years ago and have loved taking care of so many new pups! In the past year we have looked over several dog breeds including: -Lab and lab mixes - French bulldogs -Australian Shepard -English pointer -King charles cavalier -Poodle -Shih tzu -Golden retriever -Bernese mountain dog We are both very comfortable with all dog sizes, especially as we both grew up having large dogs in the house! I have also watched both puppies (9 weeks old) and senior dogs. We are very active and enjoy spending a lot of my free time outdoors. We take pups on daily walks, and if they are up for it, running with us! Please reach out if you have any questions!

Mckenna was great with Remi! She had great communication, and I loved the pictures! I highly recommend Mckenna and will reach out to her next time I need a sitter.
Mckenna is super communicative and did a fantastic job taking care of Maisy! We received daily photos of Maisy enjoying all the love and affection, and the various adventures together.
McKenna was great! She aaccepted our reservation request at the last minute when previous arrangements fell through. All communication was prompt and professional, and she sent lots of photos of our pup throughout the weekend! She took fantastic care of our girl, who was completely pooped after her big adventure. We won’t hesitate to book McKenna again in the future!

Always feel very comfortable leaving Layla with McKenna - her and her partner are great communicators and very flexible. Always feel like Layla is in great care with them!

I have a remote position that allows me to stay home while pet sitting. We are home throughout the week to spend time playing/walking with your dog

Dogs are taken care of like they are at home! I usually let dogs on the couch and bed, but can also crate your pet at night or when I’m out if that’s what they are used to!
A typical day
I usually bring the dogs for daily walks depending on the level of activity that your dog needs! On weekends I’ll bring them for longer walks on a trail or to the dog park (:
