I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, including two of my own who required higher levels of care. One was blind and diabetic, so I’m experienced with administering insulin and providing attentive, detail-oriented support. My other dog has anxiety and bladder stones, so I’m comfortable giving medication and creating a calm, safe environment for pets who need extra patience. In addition to my own pets, I’ve cared for large dogs for friends and family. As a teacher, I’m naturally patient, responsible, and attentive, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I understand how important it is to leave your pet in trusted hands, and I take that responsibility seriously.

McKenna was great and took great care of my cats! She was attentive and even went back one day when the robot litter wasn’t working. Will definitely have her look after our cats again in the future!!
McKenna is great. We have used her in a few ways on a number of occasions. She is very attentive, considerate, and patient with our senior puppy who ails from a few different age related conditions to which McKenna always provides updates during her time with our dog. We highly recommend her to everyone who needs to give their dog some extra love.

McKenna has been absolutely amazing watching my golden retriever. From the start, she was reliable, communicative, and clearly cares a lot about the dogs she looks after. I always felt at ease knowing my dog was in good hands. She made sure my dog got plenty of attention, exercise, and love, and even kept me updated with messages and photos, which I really appreciated. When I got back, my dog was happy, relaxed, and clearly well taken care of. I’d highly recommend McKenna to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog watcher. I’ll definitely be using her again!

Schedule
My schedule is very consistent and reliable. I work as a teacher Monday–Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM, but I’m available for care before and after school, including evening walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays. I’m fully available on weekends and can provide more flexible, attentive care during that time. During the summer and school breaks, I have open availability and can provide around-the-clock care, including daytime supervision and extended stays.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs to ensure they feel secure and well cared for. With experience caring for dogs who require medication and extra attention, I’m very detail-oriented and attentive to any changes in behavior or health. As a kindergarten teacher, I’m responsible, patient, and dependable, and I carry that same level of care into pet sitting. I’m respectful of your home, keep spaces clean, and always follow instructions closely. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away.
A typical day
I love making sure every pet I watch feels happy, comfortable, and gets lots of attention while you’re away! We’ll spend time going on walks, playing their favorite games like fetch or tug-of-war, and getting plenty of cuddles. I’m big on giving pets one-on-one attention and making sure they don’t feel lonely, whether that’s playing, hanging out, or just keeping them company. I also always try to stick to their normal routine so they feel safe and at home. You can expect regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is being well taken care of and having a great time!
