Hi! I’m McKenna, the owner of Mino & Mates. I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have years of experience caring for all kinds of dogs, different sizes, breeds, and personalities. Friends, family, and clients trust me to take care of their pets whether it’s walks, drop-ins, daycare, or boarding. I focus on making sure dogs have a fun, comfortable, and stress-free time. Whether that means playtime, walks, or just relaxing and feeling at home. Every dog is different, so I go with what makes them happiest. I’m also an experienced dog trainer and can help with anything from basic commands to behavioral issues if you’re interested, but it’s always optional and tailored to your dog. I also offer local and out-of-state transports, making it easy and safe if your dog ever needs to travel. My goal is always to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and genuinely cared for—like they’re on a little getaway with someone they know.

Schedule
Pet care and dog training is my full-time focus, so your dog will get plenty of attention, playtime, and supervision throughout the day. I keep a flexible schedule to make sure each dog gets the care, exercise, and routine they’re used to.

I have a safe, comfortable home with a fenced yard where dogs can play, relax, and have fun. I also have three friendly dogs who are used to being around others and help create a fun, social environment, they love making new fur friends! I always prioritize safety and will follow your dog’s routine, feeding schedule, and any specific instructions you provide. Whether your dog is crate-trained or crate-free, I can accommodate both. I also keep your house rules consistent ; if your dog is allowed on furniture at home, they’re welcome here, and if not, I’ll make sure those boundaries are respected. I offer plenty of mental and physical enrichment throughout the day, including things like Kongs, lick mats, snuffle pads, tennis balls, a splash pad, and a baby pool for dogs who love water. My goal is to create a stress-free, happy environment where your dog feels comfortable, has fun, and feels right at home

A typical day
A typical day is a mix of playtime, relaxation, and keeping your dog engaged and happy. We start the day with potty breaks and some light activity, followed by playtime with toys or time outside. Throughout the day, I include both mental and physical stimulation like snuffle mats, lick mats, puzzles, and interactive play. Since it can get hot, I make sure dogs stay cool with indoor activities, but we also enjoy outdoor time with things like a splash pad, baby pool, or supervised yard play. There’s also plenty of downtime for rest, naps, and snuggles so your dog feels comfortable and not overwhelmed. Every dog is different, so I adjust the day based on their energy level and what they enjoy most.
