I have a lifelong passion for animals and believe pets are family members deserving of dedicated, thoughtful care. Since the age of 12, I have had cats of my own and have regularly provided comfort and care for friends' and family's cats as well, giving me years of hands-on experience with feline behavior and needs. In 2020, I helped raise my family's golden retriever from puppyhood, managing crate training, obedience training, daily exercise, grooming, and all aspects of routine care. She turns 7 in January 2027, and I have supported her needs through every stage of life. I recently provided care for a 17-year-old small dog with heightened attention needs and separation anxiety, ensuring he stayed comfortable, calm, and well supported. I also share my home with two cats, ages 4 and 1, which has given me ongoing, daily experience with animals of varying ages, temperaments, and energy levels. When you entrust your pet to me, you can expect a consistent routine, attentive supervision, and regular photo updates so you always know how they are doing.

When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their established routine closely, including feeding times, walks, and any specific instructions. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and engaged, while providing attentive companionship, especially for anxious or senior pets.
Ratings and reviews
As my dog got older, McKenna watched and cared for him during the day. When he showed signs that he needed to see the veterinarian, she brought him to the one of our choosing. She was incredibly helpful and caring with my dog, and I would trust her with any pets I get in the future.
McKenna has been our go to dog sitter for the past two years. I am extremely particular about my little dog and she follows every instruction with grace. She really goes the extra mile to make sure my little man is living his best life while we are away. She is clean, attentive, and always on time. Every time I come home my dog is always comfortable and so peaceful with her. Anyone would be so lucky to have her!
My pets love McKenna! She's taken care of my dogs, Nova and Rue, and my cats, Juno and Dexter, walking, feeding, and keeping their routine normal for them. Knowing she had cats herself was all the more reassuring!

Schedule
Working part-time from home gives me the flexibility to build pet care into my everyday routine. I'm available Tuesday through Saturday for at-home care, both day and night, so I can be attentive to feeding schedules, walks, and any special needs throughout the whole day rather than just squeezing visits in around a fixed schedule. This flexibility also means I can respond quickly if a pet needs extra attention or company.
