I’ve been dog and house sitting for over 10 years, caring for pets of all sizes, ages, and needs. From energetic puppies to senior pets requiring extra support, I’m confident handling a wide range of situations. I’ve looked after multiple dogs at once, including larger breeds for extended stays, as well as smaller dogs and cats in both short- and long-term settings. I also grew up with my own dog for 12 years and have experience caring for cats, including multi-cat households. What really sets me apart is my comfort with senior and higher-needs pets. I’ve cared for animals requiring medication, assisted feeding, and mobility support—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved at all times. In addition to pet sitting, I’ve also been involved in animal rescue efforts. I’ve helped care for injured and abandoned animals—including dogs, cats, birds, and wildlife—by providing short-term support, feeding, and monitoring until they were safe or able to be rehomed. A meaningful experience was helping rescue and nurse a group of abandoned kittens back to health before they were successfully placed for adoption. I also come from a background of babysitting and caregiving, so being attentive, responsible, and respectful in someone else’s home is second nature to me.

I prioritize creating a calm, clean, and safe environment for every pet. I’m highly attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and any specific instructions you provide—because I know consistency is key for animals. Whether your pet needs structure, extra supervision, or just a lot of love and companionship, I adapt to their needs. I’m also comfortable administering medication and monitoring for any changes in behavior or health. You can trust that your home will be respected and well cared for while you’re away—I treat every space as if it were my own. I am known for being extremely clean, tidy, and organized.

McKenna dog/house sat for us on many occasions. Our older pup (Penny) was a rescue, and it would take her a long time to warm up to someone new. When she met McKenna, it was as if they had bonded in another world together before. Penny was on multiple medications, and she happily took on the challenge while we were away for a week. As much as I hated leaving Penny, I knew she was well looked after. Penny continued to sleep on the guest bed for a few days after we came home from our holiday. Penny knew she loved her! Penny is no longer with us, but I would definitely hire her again if we had that opportunity, with no hesitation!
Mckenna is a highly caring and responsible young adult. She has a great way with dogs and cats and helped take care of our dog Griffin, even helping when our dog was at the end of his life and required precise feeding, medications and care. She is responsible and meticulously clean, always leaving the space cleaner than she found it. She is highly trustworthy and most importantly, she spends TIME when housesitting with the pets, not leaving them alone for long periods of time. She communicates any issues clearly and is a joy to have in your home! Highly recommend!
I have a 5 year old pup Keoni that I consider to be my child and do not trust too many people to watch her. But Mckenna is amazing with her. I have no worries about keoni when Mckenna is watching her. Keoni also adores her, gets so excited whenever Mckenna comes over. I know Keoni is in great hands and will be happy, safe and cared for whenever Mckenna watches her. 100% would recommend Mckenna to whoever needs a pet sitter. -JM
McKenna has looked after my dogs, Dandi and Kiki several times over the last few years. She’s an amazing dog sitter and house sitter. Dandi was an elderly dog who required daily medication and McKenna was great with her. I can’t recommend her enough!

Harmonogram
My schedule is extremely flexible. I work remotely and complete my master’s program online, which means I’m home most of the time and able to give your pet plenty of attention throughout the day. It’s rare that I’m away for more than a couple of hours, so your pet won’t be left alone for long periods. I’m also very active and love incorporating walks, runs, and outdoor time into my routine—perfect for dogs that need regular exercise.
