I am currently a student at Virginia Tech. I normally have class starting at 8am and classes end between 12 and 4pm. I always have a lunch break tho so I can check on or walk animals around noon everyday. I am also happy to come over before classes start and at night!!

I have lots of experience with pets of all sizes. I feel comfortable walking dogs of all sizes and can crate them. When I am with an animal I make sure to give them my full attention!

Let me know of your dogs special needs or aggression levels/ fears. I am comfortable working with anxious dogs that may need some warming up to, but it's definitely helpful to know before hand.
A typical day
I love to walk dogs and match their energy! I am happy to go on runs with higher energy dogs or go for a light stroll for those who are older. I also love snuggling with dogs and giving them lots of pets! I am comfortable giving medicine, cleaning ears, trimming nails, bathing, changing bandages, etc!

Pet care experience
I graduated from Tulane in New Orleans last spring and I am going to Virginia Tech for veterinary school school next fall! I have worked as a veterinary assistant for the past few years. Additionally, I have dogsit and housesit for my neighbors and I am happy to put you in contact with people I have worked for in the past! The past few years, I’ve also volunteered at Animal Rescue New Orleans for a few hours each week and have lots of experience walking the dogs there (all breeds and sizes!) I am also comfortable administering meds and caring for animals with health issues. I love ALL animals and can't wait to get to meet your fur babies!

McCall helped watch our (anxious) pup after neuter surgery and did a great job making sure he was cared for on the days I couldn’t be home with him. We will definitely contact her if/when we need another sitter!
