I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years, but honestly, it started way before that with my childhood sidekick: a stubborn little Scottish Terrier who ran the house. Since then, I’ve had experience with all kinds of pups—zoomie machines, cuddle bugs, picky eaters, and even dramatic divas. Whether your dog wants a new best friend or just someone to toss treats on command, I’ve got them covered. Safe, fun, and belly-rub approved!

Mayven provided care for my dog. He was returned safely. However the communication was an issue during the entire stay. I did not get photo updates as expected when I asked, her excuse was her phone storage is full. The lack of reliability was concerning and I had to worry during the trip. Also the pickup process was unprofessional. She was distracted on her phone upon our arrival and made us come in to grab our dog’s stuff rather than being present and prepared for handover. This has caused unnecessary delay and Inconvenience. We will not be booking with her again.
I was very disappointed. I made a schedule of the time frames to come and let the dogs out and she did not come at the requested times like we agreed to. She stayed for 15 minutes or less when we agreed on an hour. She left them for 24 hours without visiting and did not communicate to me she would not be able to come.
We boarded our reactive/needy/anxious dog-Zeppelin at Mayven's and she took very good care of him. Zeppelin seemed to really like her and her boyfriend. She was very responsive and I would definitely board Zeppelin at her place again. I'm so glad Zeppelin got a good vacation too!
Mayven is great with animals of all kinds! You can tell she has a soft spot in her heart for them by her smile while interacting with them and how in tune she is for what they are wanting / needing. I also believe animals are the best judges of character and all animals Love her! She makes a new furry friend Everywhere she goes! She’s cared for our family dog on multiple occasions and I never want to use anyone else!
Mayven doesn’t just watch pets, she gets them. She’s patient, full of love, and always the person animals run to first (even if their owner’s in the room). If I had fur and four legs, I’d trust her with my life!

Planning
My current availability is weekdays from 8:30 AM to 4 PM for Drop-ins and I’m available all day on weekends. I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets the care and attention they need throughout the week.

Your dog will be in a calm, pet-free home with lots of love and supervision. I keep things safe, clean, and comfy, and I’m happy to follow any specific routines or crate your dog if that’s what they’re used to. Their comfort and safety are always my top priority!

I love keeping dogs active and happy—whether it’s going on walks to explore new scents, running around the park, or playing interactive games at home. I also make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and cuddle time so they feel safe and cared for
