I’ve taken care of my babies since 2009 when they were pups up until they were seniors(16 yrs of age). -I’ve had experience raising a cockapoo and a chihuahua and am currently raising a terrier, and a pug 💖 -I’ve taken care of my friends pitbull and cat multiple times while they were away on vacation What does that entail? -cleaning up after your fur babies so that when you come home, there are no messes that you have to worry about 😊 -spending time with each pet individually! Playtime for everyone! 🤗 -taking your dog out on frequent walks or if during hot days, taking them to areas where there is shade and cool areas or waiting until sun is down and it is safe for them to walk outside.🐕🦺🐾 -if medication is needed, setting reminders for their scheduled medication and staying close so that they are not left alone after given medication💊 ❤️🩹 -updates with pictures so that you are up to date on what is currently happening with your fur baby 📸🐶✨ - feeding them the appropriate amount of food when scheduled and checking on water levels💦 -monitoring them to make sure they are close by and are out of harms way 🕵️♀️

Safety, trust & environment
Before stepping outside, I like to make sure that the leash is strapped on to the pets well and wrapped around my hand securely before walking out. I like to ask if your pet likes to run outside sometimes so that I can be more cautious and exiting and entering. I will never bring something that your dog is not allowed to have around for safety reasons like chocolate for example. When playing, I will check to make sure that the item is the appropriate size to play with so that there are no choking hazards. I will honor your pets space while also monitoring them to make sure they are not in harms way. If there are fences I will double check to make sure they are securely closed. When your pets are eating, I will stay around to make sure that everything is ingested properly. When going outside, I will make sure that we avoid any situations that may be potentially dangerous and steer clear of any trouble. I will keep you updated on any suspicious behavior or anything that I may find concerning with your pet. I’m pretty big on communication, so I will try to give you as many details as I could about the visit so much so that you will feel like you were there! It’s important that you know that your baby is in good hands!

Mayra is a responsible and loving dog owner. She always makes sure the dogs in her care are treated with the utmost respect and kindness. She helped me find affordable, trustworthy vet clinics for my own pups when it came time to neuter and spay them. She even took in one pup from my Pug’s litter. She is constantly sending me videos and pictures of how well the pup is growing up in her new forever home. I could not recommend a more trustworthy person to watch over your pups. She perfectly understands how important a dog is to someone and will make sure the dog is treated with highest level of care.
Mayra has the perfect kind of personality to care for dogs. She has experience caring for dogs across all stages of life and does so in a caring and patient manner. Your pets will absolutely love her!
Where to start! Mayra has always been amazing with animals and they love her! She is attentive, caring, loving, playful, responsible towards them. Has great knowledge and experience of looking after animals and loving them as if they are her own. Your pets are in great care if you have Mayra as your pet sitter! She is one, I would even say the best person that I know!

Schedule
I am currently focusing on school so I have a lot more flexibility to meet with your pets in the morning or at night. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are usually my days dedicated to schoolwork but other than that, I am available any other time of the week!
