I'm currently a "mom" for two large, and one small, spoiled, and sometimes stubborn dogs. I'm used to handling both large and small breeds with high energy. Self trained basic commands to all 3 dogs I've most recently owned. I have basic experience with aggressive dogs and a surcharge may be required. All breeds welcome! Expert belly rubber and frisbee tosser. I own a decent sized yard for roaming loosely and active play sessions or exercise. Familiar with snakes, birds, cats, and rodents as well. Some experience with elderly dogs and post operative care. I'm able to properly administer medication and provide specialized care. Successfully supervised two different dog litter births and cared for the puppies. If at home dog sitting is required, client pets will sleep indoors with fresh water and a/c at all times. 24hour care available for day/night stays as well as video/picture updates. Dog bathing and plant watering also available for drop in visits. Thorough flea, tick, and burr removal available with every bath request. One on one play time and at least one walk per day included with any stay. I will treat other's pets as if they were my own. I am also willing to learn about any illnesses and special care for pets with special needs prior to their stay. Free cuddles and kisses available for all fur babies under my care. Being new and temporary to Eagle Pass, I was nervous to go away without familiar pet care. Ale did drop-in visits at our home for my 3 pups for a week while I travelled. I also had her come 2x per week for the two weeks prior to get to know me and my dogs prior to my vacation. I have 3 senior, under 20lbs dogs. I found Ale to be prompt, kind and knowledgeable. She communicated well leading up to each visit, took and sent me pictures and videos during each visit and was always responsive to any questions or requests throughout. I would use Ale again to watch my babies and would recommend her to others for your dog sitting needs. I’m grateful to have found her!
Mayra doesn't care about your pets, she cares about money. She did not communicate her policy about taking extra money for an early drop off and made me feel welcome to leave my dog a little earlier than planned after the meet and greet. I rushed back from volunteering in Mexico to pick up my dog on time and when we finally spoke in person she said she wanted to charge for the few extra hours that she took my dog after the meet and greet. I expressed disappointment that this wasn't communicated ahead of time because the only reason I came earlier was because she wanted a meet and greet and I was coming from another city. I was in Eagle Pass all day and would have rather had my dog with me than pay $50 extra without warning or consent. Mayra is one of 2 sitters in Eagle Pass and she is twice as much as the other sitter who was not available. She keeps several dogs at a time and runs a grooming service there as well, leaving the dogs unattended in separate rooms. When we spoke in person I said I could not afford the extra $50 especially since it was not communicated ahead of time so she cancelled the request to change the hours while we stood there and said she wouldn't charge me for this. I thanked her and said I really appreciated it and we would contact her again next time we came down to volunteer. Several hours later I found out she put the request back in to change the hours and charge me extra, showing that she lied to my face. This on top of the fact that she told me that her own dogs are aggressive which is why she keeps all the dogs she boards isolated in separate rooms in the small crowded house on the outskirts of town. I definitely don't recommend this unethical business person.
Kept me updated with pictures and videos regularly and was able to handle Murphy, my 80lb German Shepard who can be a little difficult with strangers. Would highly recommend!

A typical day
I usually walk the dogs after school hours at the nearest football field or the nearest park available. Empty school yards are also a favorite. Private one on one play sessions include fetch, teaser pole chasing, minor obedience training and car rides.
