I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, including high energy puppies, anxious rescues, and gentle senior pets who need extra patience and care. I’m comfortable administering both oral and ophthalmic (eye) medications, supporting pets with anxiety, and adapting to different feeding, walking, or medical routines. I’ve done everything from overnight house sitting to crate training and leash training. Whether it’s managing multiple pets in a household or creating a calm environment for a single pet with special needs, I tailor my care to make each animal feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m reliable, respectful of your home, and committed to keeping you updated with photos and messages while you’re away so you can relax knowing your furry family member is in kind, capable hands.

I cannot thank Mayela enough for the exceptional care she provided to Naara while I was out of town. Naara, my sweet and sometimes diva-like pug, can be a bit particular, but Mayela handled her with such patience, kindness, and professionalism that I felt completely at ease leaving her in Mayela’s capable hands. Throughout my trip, Mayela was incredibly attentive and communicative, sending me regular updates that truly reassured me. These updates included adorable photos and videos of Naara happily playing, relaxing, and even showing her playful personality. It was so comforting to see Naara looking happy, relaxed, and well-cared for, which made my time away much easier. Mayela clearly has a genuine love for animals; her gentle and affectionate approach was evident in the way Naara responded to her. Naara seemed to adore her company and appeared comfortable and content during their time together. I wholeheartedly recommend Mayela for any dog-sitting needs. She is trustworthy, responsible, and demonstrates a sincere passion for caring for animals. Her professionalism combined with her warmth makes her an outstanding caregiver. Naara and I will definitely be using her services again in the future, and I feel confident that anyone who chooses her will be in excellent hands.

Schedule
I’m currently taking remote courses part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and lots of time to give your pet the attention, love, and consistent care they deserve, day or night. I’m currently offering overnight stays and drop-in visits only, and am available on both weekdays and weekends. I genuinely enjoy quiet nights in, so keeping your furry companion company while you’re away feels like the perfect fit. Whether your pet is cuddly and social or more independent and shy, I’ll meet them where they’re at. I’m also comfortable caring for multiple pets and making sure each one gets the love and attention they need.

I currently offer pet sitting in your home, which helps your pet stay comfortable in their own familiar surroundings while you’re away. I carefully follow your routines, whether it’s feeding, walks, medication, or bedtime so your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I’m respectful of your home, keep things clean and orderly, and make sure your pet feels safe, calm, and cared for at all times. I also provide regular updates and photos to keep you connected and at ease while you're away.
A typical day
A typical day includes plenty of walks, playtime, and companionship. I like to start with a good morning outing, then make time for midday breaks and afternoon walks to keep dogs active and happy. In between, there’s play, cuddles, and rest time, making sure pets get both exercise and affection throughout the day.
