I’ve had cats all my life, including feral ones that I helped domesticate. I worked as a senior caregiver for a patient with dementia who had a cat whom she loved dearly and so I made sure to care for him with her. I love every cat I meet. I’ve taken care of kittens, adolescents, and senior cats. Shy, extroverted, in between, I can make them open up to me with time and patience. As for dogs, I am able to handle big and small. I enjoy walking to parks in my free time and watch birds, which is something I have in common with many dogs. I rarely tire even if they like to pull during walks. I am a recent graduate with distinction from CU Boulder with a degree in Neuroscience and Evolutionary Biology. Through my classes, I have learned how to properly handle and care for animals of all kinds; including but not limited to: birds, fish, cockroaches, ants, rats, and mice. This gives me an advantage of knowledge regarding health and safety when handling animals.
