Safety, Trust, and Tailored Care: Where Your Pup Feels at Home Whether your dog joins me for walks in the park or enjoys playtime at your place, safety and trust are my top priorities. Here's how I ensure a positive experience for both you and your furry friend: In Your Home: Meet & Greet: Before our first session, I'll schedule a free consultation to get to know you and your pet. This allows us to discuss your pet's needs, preferences, and any specific instructions. We'll also go through your home environment to ensure it's safe for playtime or walks on leash. Leash Manners & Secure Walks: During walks, I'll always use a secure leash and harness appropriate for your dog's size and temperament. I'm also trained in positive reinforcement techniques to ensure a safe and enjoyable walk for everyone. Clean-up Crew: Accidents happen! I'll always carry clean-up bags and dispose of waste responsibly, leaving your home spotless. Constant Communication: Throughout the visit, I'll keep you updated with pictures and texts, giving you peace of mind and letting you see your pup having a blast. Walks in the Park: Safe Routes & Park Etiquette: I'll choose dog-friendly parks and routes that are well-maintained and appropriate for your dog's activity level. I'm also familiar with park rules and etiquette, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable outing. Hydration & Rest: I'll always carry fresh water and a bowl for your dog to stay hydrated during walks. We'll also take breaks as needed, allowing your pup to rest and explore at their own pace. Socialization (Optional): If you'd like, I can introduce your dog to other friendly pups during walks, promoting positive social interactions. Overall Trust & Comfort: Pet CPR & First Aid Certified: I'm certified in Pet CPR and First Aid, providing an extra layer of security and ensuring I can handle unexpected situations calmly. Background Checked & Insured: Your pet's safety is paramount. I undergo a background check and carry pet-sitting insurance for added peace of mind. Love & Patience: Above all, I treat your dog with the same love and respect I would give my own furry companion. Positive reinforcement and a calm demeanor will ensure your pet feels comfortable and happy throughout our time together. By following these protocols, I can create a safe, trusting, and enjoyable environment for your dog, whether they're exploring the park or relaxing in the familiar comfort of your home.

Information Mayank C. would like to know about your pet
Before taking care of a dog, here's some crucial doggy information to gather from their owner: Essentials: Breed: Knowing the breed helps understand their typical energy level, size, and potential needs. Age: A playful puppy needs different care than a senior dog who might prefer gentle walks. Walking Routine: How often and how long does the dog typically go for walks? Feeding Schedule: What kind of food do they eat, and how much and how often do they get fed? Medication: Does the dog need any medications administered? If so, when and how (pills, liquid, etc.)? Health and Happiness: Veterinarian Info: Having the vet's contact details is essential in case of emergencies. Vaccination History: Up-to-date vaccinations are important for the dog's health and yours. Personality: Is the dog energetic, playful, shy, or easily startled? Knowing their personality helps you approach them comfortably. Training: Does the dog understand basic commands like "sit," "stay," and "heel?" Are there any leash manners you should be aware of? Potty Habits: Is the dog housebroken? If so, does he/she use pee pads indoors or prefer to go potty outside only? Safety and Security: Emergency Contact: Who should you contact in case of an emergency with the dog or the owner? Leash and Collar: Does the dog have a well-fitting collar and leash? Is the dog comfortable wearing them? Fenced Yard: Does the owner have a fenced yard, or will you need to keep the dog on a leash during walks? Off-Limits Areas: Are there any rooms or areas in the house that are off-limits to the dog (kitchen counters, bedrooms, etc.)? Play Preferences: Does the dog have favorite toys or games? Knowing their play style helps keep them entertained.
A typical day
Active Pets: Adventure walks: Explore new trails, parks, or even have themed walks like "sniffing safaris" where they use their noses to discover new scents. Water fun: For dogs who love water, a trip to a dog-friendly beach or a splash in a kiddie pool on a hot day would be a blast. Brain games: Hide treats around the house or yard and have them sniff them out, or use puzzle toys that dispense treats as a challenge. Relaxed Pets: Cuddle time: Create a cozy spot for snuggles and story time (even if they don't understand the words, the sound of your voice is calming). All Pets: "Pawsitive" reinforcement training: Work on basic commands with short, positive training sessions using treats and praise.

Your dog's new best friend!
Pet care experience
Hi there! I'm Mayank, and while I may spend my days crafting code as a software developer, my heart belongs to the world of wags and wet noses. For as long as I can remember, dogs have held a special place in my life. Unfortunately, my current lifestyle doesn't allow me to have a furry friend of my own just yet. But the truth is, spending time with dogs is like therapy for me. Their unconditional love, playful energy, and constant enthusiasm bring a smile to my face no matter what. That's why I'm thrilled to be offering dog walking and care services! I see it as a win-win: your pup gets the exercise and companionship they crave, while I get my daily dose of doggy delight. I'm not just a dog lover, I'm also a responsible and reliable caregiver. I'm committed to providing your furry friend with a safe, fun, and enriching experience tailored to their needs. Whether it's a daily walk filled with tail-chasing adventures, playtime in the park, or simply some cuddles and belly rubs, I'll ensure your pup feels loved and cared for while you're away. Let's chat and see how I can become your dog's new best walk buddy!

My heart is overflowing with happiness! We have a large, reactive rescue dog, and Mayank was absolutely WONDERFUL with him. He quickly found the right approach to support our pup and build a genuine connection. Finding someone who is patient, strong, and supportive with a reactive dog isn’t easy, but Mayank exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t be more pleased! We’re already looking forward to working with him again for future care—and even for walks! Highly recommend!
Mayank is an outstanding pet caregiver whose genuine love for animals shines through in every interaction. As a pet sitter on Rover.com, he goes above and beyond to ensure that every pet is happy, safe, and well-cared for. My cat, Whiskers, absolutely adores him! Mayank's attention to detail and his compassionate approach make him an invaluable caregiver. He provides regular updates with adorable photos, which gives me peace of mind while I'm away. Beyond his excellent pet care skills, Mayank is a kind and reliable individual who is always willing to help. I highly recommend Mayank for anyone seeking a trustworthy and loving pet sitter on Rover.com!
I never thought I could leave Charlie with anyone! He's a rescue with a lot of anxieties, and I worried he'd be a handful. But Mayank was an absolute lifesaver. They took the time to meet with Charlie beforehand and put him at ease. Now, whenever I drop him off, his tail wags like crazy! I get daily updates with pictures and videos, and it's clear Charlie has a blast playing with Mayank's dog pack. I can finally relax knowing Charlie is in such good hands.
We have a lively crew at our house - two Labradors and a mischievous Beagle! Finding someone to handle them all was a challenge until we found Mayank. They have the energy and patience to keep all three dogs entertained, exercised, and safe. They even manage to train them basic commands during playtime! Our dogs adore Mayank, and so do we. It's a relief knowing they're getting the attention and exercise they need, even when we're not home.
