Enthusiastic Animal Lover
I've had cats all my life and got my first dog when I was 11. As soon as we brought her home, I helped walk her, feed her, and bathe her after she was sprayed by a skunk. Earlier this year, I began volunteering at 2 animal shelters where I walk dogs, brush cats, and socialize the animals. I have a lot of patience for all animals, but the timid ones have a special place in my heart. I also have some experience working with ill and elderly dogs.

Every animal is different, so I vary my approach depending on who I have the pleasure of working with. I communicate openly and frequently, and make sure to provide the best possible experience for everyone.
Ratings and reviews
Maya is an incredibly loving and attentive animal caretaker. She has watched our entire menagerie, including 2 senior dogs, 2 cats, and a flock of chickens. One of our dogs required extra levels of care, including frequent potty breaks and support with mobility challenges. She also administers oral medicines to both dogs and cats on a regular schedule. Her love of all animals runs very deep and it shows in the way she interacts with them and respects their quirks. She is diligent in her preparation and we trust her with all of our animals. We would recommend her to anyone looking for an animal-loving petsitter!

Schedule
I'm pretty flexible during the summer, and I'm always happy to meet new furry friends! I will typically be available on short notice for both walks and drop-ins.
