i prioritize creating a safe, calm, and clean environment for every pet. i’m very attentive and always follow instructions carefully, whether it’s feeding schedules, potty routines, or specific care needs. i have experience with both independent pets like cats and more high-energy pets like puppies, so i understand how to adjust my care style accordingly. i make sure pets are always supervised, comfortable, and secure, and i’m very respectful of my client’s home and space. i’m also comfortable with things like administering medication, managing multiple pets, and keeping pets separated if needed. your pet’s safety and well-being will always be my top priority.
Ratings and reviews
In short I would not recommend Maya. After the job was confirmed, she didn’t reach out about the dogs at all. About three weeks before the start date, I contacted her to arrange a meet and greet. A week passed with no response, so I followed up saying I was getting nervous. She finally replied and we set a date, then no showed. When I reached out, she said she forgot. With a week and a half left before the job started, we tried again, but the only day she offered was one I was working. In the end, no meet and greet ever happened. I left detailed instructions covering my dogs’ routine, including specific needs for one dog with special needs. Those instructions were not followed. She was also poor about communication. She didn’t even tell me when she arrived to start the job; I had to reach out to confirm. I had a bad feeling from the start, and it turned out to be justified. She fed the dogs late, which left them too hyper to settle down. During her time watching them, an incident occurred with one of my dogs that led to her calling the police and abandoning the dogs rather than contacting me. That decision cost me financially and took a real emotional toll on both me and my dogs. Given that she admitted afterward she had no experience with dog behavior, she should never have taken on a long-term job with two dogs, let alone one with special needs. I myself have used rover with my dogs for long term sitting three other times and use family members to watch them pretty often. There has never been an issue before Maya came into my home.
Maya was wonderful! She stayed at our home for a few nights to take care of our two dogs and our cat, and we couldn't be happier. All of our animals were happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when we got home. She also left our house exactly as we left it, which we really appreciated. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pets and home were in such good hands while we were away. We're so happy we found Maya and would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!

Maya has been absolutely amazing! She took such great care of my pet. and kept me updated the entire time, which gave me so much peace of mind. My pet takes medication and she made sure to give it on time. You can tell she genuinely loves animals and goes above and beyond to make sure they’re happy and comfortable. Schedule
i’m available most days of the week, except mondays and fridays. pet care is already a part of my daily routine, as i care for my own cats every day, feeding, brushing, and maintaining a clean environment. i also regularly help care for a young puppy, so i’m used to more hands on attention like frequent potty breaks, playtime, supervision, and keeping a close eye to prevent messes or damage. i’m flexible, reliable, and able to adjust to your pet’s specific routine and needs.
