I work a part-time job usually only four hours at a time, so I'm relatively flexible with potty breaks, feeding, etc. I'm home from college for the summer, so packing/moving between locations is easy, and I love taking care of people's homes. Care more frequent than every four hours is tricky to fit in, but I can be flexible and discuss how to make it work!

If time restrictions allow, I'm comfortable caring for any amount of pets and any kind of pet (if given specific instructions). I'm confident in feeding both cats and dogs, whether that be three times a day or only once. In my own home, we have our pets on a more complicated diet of quality food, so I'm no stranger to specific dietary needs or administering medication (I make a mean and undetectable turkey-wrapped pill). I can walk and/or hike with dogs if needed, but I will only walk dogs who are either small and manageable or medium to large sized dogs who are leash trained. I am comfortable cleaning animal waste and/or throw up if cleaning supplies is provided. I love to cuddle but am fine leaving pets to themselves if they're more introverted. I usually prefer to spend the night for security and my own peace of mind, but if you only need day time care, I'm totally willing to accept a lower rate and only visit when necessary.

I'd like to know the ages and energy levels of your pets, physical restrictions or needs, any specific dietary needs or medications, how often they need to be let out, and how often you need me to be in the house with them at a time. I'm comfortable administering medicine but would need clear instructions or a demonstration.
A typical day
With pets, I love to walk down by the river, hike in the hills, and go on car rides! I also spend a lot of time with friends and can bring your dog along if we're outside. I'm also great with floor time, playing with toys, and throwing balls in the backyard or in fields. Cuddle time is a particular specialty of mine, so I'd love to lay around the house if that's what your pet needs.

Pet care experience
I have lived with and taken care of pets my whole life and always will! I have four pets of my own, but I love to fill my life with many more. I love to walk and hike, suitable for young pups with lots of energy, but I'm also happy just lounging around with older dogs. I'm a quick learner, so any medicine or specific care needs I am fully willing to take on.

I've known Maya her whole life and trust her implicitly. She's watched our dogs and house many times and does a great job. She loves animals and treats them like her own. She grew up with dogs and cats and knows how to take care of them. We've had young dogs and senior dogs, and she does an awesome job knowing how to treat each animal the way they need. We've had lots of house sitters in the past and Maya is always our first choice.
Maya is my go to for when my puppy needs a friend for the day when im away, her kind, compassionate and attentive nature is the perfect match with my dogs sweetness and tad bits of craziness
