My name is Maya Sanchez and I’m in Altus, OK. I completed my degrees at Texas Tech and while there I worked in behavioral research concerning cattle, sheep, pigs, and dogs. We’d train the animals, take care of their needs, administered medication, and learned their body language. I have one dog with me and she is a rambunctious border collie named Loca. We can be seen often working (fetch) and learning new tricks! My other dog, Sarge, is with my parents. Sarge is a 100+ 6 year old hunting dog and I practice retrieving with him. They are not a fan of getting their nails trimmed, but I get the job done! Additionally, I have experience caring for large animals such as cattle, horses, and small ruminants and have base access!
