My name is Maya Sanchez and I’m in Altus, OK. I completed my degrees at Texas Tech and while there I worked in behavioral research concerning cattle, sheep, pigs, and dogs. We’d train the animals, take care of their needs, administered medication, and learned their body language. I have one dog with me and she is a rambunctious border collie named Loca. We can be seen often working (fetch) and learning new tricks! My other dog, Sarge, is with my parents. Sarge is a 100+ 6 year old hunting dog and I practice retrieving with him. They are not a fan of getting their nails trimmed, but I get the job done! Additionally, I have experience caring for large animals such as cattle, horses, and small ruminants and have base access!

I love to take and send pictures of the owners pets to them at least twice a day so that the owners are secure knowing their animals are safe and well taken care of.

Maya was great! She sent me lots of photos and videos while I was away. She also kept me updated every time she visited on Lucy’s behaviors and what she ate and if she had went to the restroom. I felt comfortable leaving my cat while I was gone.
Maya was incredible!!! She took great care of our FOUR dogs that are a handful. We were able to enjoy our vacation while getting daily pictures and updates of our babies. We are so thankful for her service and the love she showed our pups.
Maya did an absolutely amazing job and we gave her a challenge with 4 dogs (2 of them are scaredy cats). She went above and beyond. She sent pictures and updates daily. She was an absolute joy.
Maya was a gem!! She won our dog’s heart by making walks fun and allowing lots of kisses. Maya was very responsible and kept us updated with a brief description of each walk, which always included pictures. We will definitely use her again!
