I work from home M-F, but could certainly come before 8 AM and after 5. Your cat and I can unwind from the day together! If you are close by, it might be possible for me to come mid-day. On the weekends, I’m generally wide open!

I want to make sure I understand where your pets feel safest and how much interaction they are craving. It’s all very personalized to the animal. For social cats, I want to ensure they have all their favorite toys at their disposal, and we can play where they like best. For more quiet, shy cats, I am happy to be a companion for them in the same room or another, just so they know they have a friend nearby if needed. You’ll tell me what’s best for you, and I’ll learn from the cat as well!

I’ve had cats in my home since I was 2. I truly adore them, and I’d love to make sure your cat feels safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I understand how stressful and anxiety-inducing it can be to leave your loved ones in the care of someone else, and I am dedicated to ensuring that you and your cats feel at ease while I care for them. I’m happy to help give special attention or care to any older cats you may have and ensure they are as comfy as possible.

Maya has watched our cat, Lulu, many times. She is our go-to for watching her, especially when we are out multiple days in a row. Recently, she not only came twice a day while we were away, but she personally reached out to alert us to a heat wave and made sure Lulu was comfortable and had enough water. Maya has cats herself, so she understands their unique needs and personalities. I trust Maya to be reliable, on time, and send photos too (which is never requested but is a great relief). We know Lulu is in good hands and gets many pets, lots of play time, and some much needed love when Maya us around. You should have no hesitations about having Maya care for your pet. She is truly fantastic.
Maya has done a phenomenal job caring for our 3 cats! From regular home visits while we are out of town to monitoring one of our kitties while he recovered from surgery, she's been a reliable and caring go-to sitter for several years now. Our animals have complicated food needs, which she handily accommodates. You can tell that she truly loves our cats, which makes a huge difference. Thank you, Maya!
