I am an MSW graduate student and working part-time, and have a good deal of flexibility in my schedule. I have availability throughout the day for drop-in visits and walks, and morning/ weekend/ nighttime availability as well.

A typical day
I will engage your pet with physical exercise and mental stimulation by going for walks, playing with toys, and practicing tricks and other obedience skills you might be working on. I will also provide a lot of care and affection with pets and cuddles!

*** Not taking on new clients at this time (as of November 2025)***** I have over 20 years of combined experience caring for both cats and dogs of many different ages, with some specific skills around training reinforcement for dogs. Growing up, I cared for my own cat as well as cats and dogs in the neighborhood. As an adult, I have cared for both cats and dogs and done extended house-sits for clients and friends with cats. I have my own dog, named Billie, who is an 8-year-old german shepherd/lab mix. I love animals of all kinds, and love to get to know animals and help them feel safe, cared for, and joyful/playful.

Maya is an exceptionally kind, reliable, and punctual caregiver of all pets. She supported me in many moments with my best furry friend, an elderly Siamese cat. She will follow directions (even the most mundane and specific ones!) and stay in communication and not only make your pet happy but help you be at ease while out of town. She also took excellent care of several dear friends' dogs while they were out of town or needed help while recovering from surgery. She is a very reliable dog walker and pet-sitter in my community!
