In college my roommate and I took care of dogs together for friends, family, and neighbors pretty regularly and Taz was right there making every new pup feel at home from day one. He has always been the best icebreaker. I have been navigating life with a dog since I was in school and I know firsthand how much patience, attentiveness, and genuine love it takes to keep them happy and feeling secure. Now that I am settled in Chicago and home all day, I feel like I finally have the time and space to do this the right way and give other people's dogs the same care I give Taz every single day.

We had a wonderful experience! Maya took great care of Koko, made sure she got her walk time, and kept us updated regularly with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Koko also had an amazing time playing with her dog, and it was clear she was happy and comfortable the entire stay. I would absolutely trust her with Koko again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and loving sitter!
Maya is amazing, caring and communicative! I was in pinch and needed help with my mini dachshund during the workday and she was great. She was prompt grabbing him and dropping him off to me, she gave me many updates and pictures during the day, and best of all, my highly anxious dog with separation anxiety had a great time with her and her sweet dog, Taz (she shared a video of them playing with lots of tail wagging)! Will be using her going forward :)

Schedule
I have so much time and love to give to your pup! My schedule is super flexible so I am genuinely home and available pretty much all day, every day. I built my routine around my dog Taz and I plan to do the same for yours. We are talking multiple walks a day, the dog park in our building, a second dog park just around the corner, pup cup runs, and every dog friendly patio we can find. I am the kind of person who would rather spend a Saturday exploring the neighborhood with a dog than doing pretty much anything else. Your pup will never be bored or lonely.

I have had my dog Taz since my freshman year of college and he is truly my whole heart. He comes everywhere with me, and I have spent years learning what makes dogs feel safe, loved, and genuinely happy. Taz is the sweetest, most social guy and he is SO good at making new dog friends feel welcome and comfortable right away. Our building has its own dog park and there is another great one just two blocks away, so there is never a shortage of places to play. I am home with the dogs all day so your baby is getting real attention and real love.

A typical day
A typical day with me starts with a morning walk to get everyone moving and sniffing and exploring the neighborhood. Then we head to one of our dog parks, either the one in our building or the one just down the street, so your pup can run around and burn off some energy with Taz. After all that playing we usually come home and have the best little cuddle session on the couch together. In the afternoon we will head out for another walk, maybe hunt down a pup cup, or find a cute dog friendly patio to hang out at if the weather is nice. Then we wind down with more cuddles and a cozy evening in. I hope your dog is going to love every second of it!

- Every dog is different and I totally get that! Just let me know anything important about your pup ahead of time, whether that is dietary needs, a favorite toy, a bedtime routine, or anything that helps them feel comfortable and at home. Taz is super friendly and easygoing so he does a great job welcoming all kinds of dogs, but I always want to make sure I know your dog well before they arrive so I can make their stay as smooth and happy as possible. No detail is too small, I want to get it right for your pup!
