I believe all dogs are the best.
I grew up with dogs and love all types and sizes! I have my own dog that I raised from a puppy but he's staying with dad at the moment. I'm experienced with giving basic medical care like pills and administering shots if needed. I love to walk and run with dogs, so they'll be sure to get good exercise. Dog parks are also great, but I always make sure I feel comfortable (and the owner is comfortable) with the dog before venturing out. I'm aware of dog body language and behavior. I love dogs a lot and just want them to know they are loved and cared for!!

Safety, trust & environment
I live alone in a large apartment with a nice backyard in downtown Napa. My home is clean and comfy and dogs are allowed on the furniture (preferably for cuddles!). My door to the back yard has a little dog door so your pet can come and go into the gated back yard as they please. I'd prefer for clients to bring their dogs own belongings (water bowls, food, toys, bedding, etc) so the dog has all their favorite amenities.

Maya was very communicative when checking in on our Aussie puppy. We are very happy with Maya and would use her again.
Maya was amazing with Mochi! He seemed right at home in the backyard and while on a walk with her. He came home tired and so happy!
Maya responded to a last-minute request for a sitter for my 5-month old Mini Aussie. She provided daycare for my pup in my home for a day and then stayed several nights with her! Maya's work from home schedule is ideal for this and she was prompt (and even early!) in arriving. She made sure she understood her routines and dos/don'ts and sent regular updates and photos. It can always be a little unnerving to open your home to a stranger, but she left my house in pristine condition. It made me feel so much better to leave my pup for the first time, knowing she was in good hands with Maya. We'll definitely be calling on her again!
Maya was great. She arrived right on time, and her calm, gentle personality put Milo at ease instantly. It was clear she knew how to make him feel comfortable, and we feel confident leaving him in her care from now on.
So responsive and reliable to a last minute request! Stella seemed to have loved her time with Maya! 10/10 recommend!
Maya is such a loving person and so great with dogs! She's watched my pup before who has some serious anxiety issues and she's great with her. Would trust her with my furry friends any day.

Schedule
I work from home so my schedule is very flexible! I'm able to take dogs out on multiple walks a day. There's a relatively large gated back yard for outdoor lounging and play! I'm also not far from Alston dog park which is a GREAT spot for dogs of all sizes. I'm happy to house-sit (in cat-free houses only) or do daily visits if preferred, again, very flexible. I love to get out on hikes on the weekend so I'd love to take your dog along!
