I’ve lived with and taken care of dogs my entire life. I loved my childhood dogs whole heartedly through their years and was a primary member in their care when they were seniors. Recently, my family adopted a puppy as well, so I am comfortable with working with young dogs who need more attention and training. I am very familiar with regular day to day at home dog care as well as paying attention while dog walking for distractions, other dogs, or safety concerns.

I will not be able to offer day care in my home as my family recently adopted a puppy. However, as someone who has owned both a big and a small dog, I am very conscious on keeping spaces clear and doors closed to avoid dogs getting into anything they shouldn’t be. Further, I am very comfortable with schedules and taking dogs out to go to the bathroom frequently if need be, either on a leash or letting them out into a fenced in backyard.

Maya was so sweet and patient with our nutty dogs. They were obviously well cared for, and she kept us up to date every day with their activities and meals. I highly recommend Maya as a dog sitter!
Leaving my two senior dogs at home is always a stressful event, but it’s one that’s much easier to manage with Maya’s help. She’s patient, attentive, affectionate, and I always feel confident that my boys are receiving the best possible care with her. Whether it’s daily walks, belly rubs, or receiving meds on time, Maya’s got it all covered!

I can’t say enough great things about Maya! She’s our absolute favorite sitter! Whether it’s a last-minute walk when we’re stuck at work or a weeks-long vacation, she’s always our first choice to care for our pup. As an admittedly overprotective pet parent, I’m usually anxious about leaving our border collie at home. But with Maya, I’m totally at ease. She treats our dog like family, showering him with love, attention, and affection. I get regular updates, adorable photos, and videos that prove he’s having the time of his life. Our dog is super high-energy, and Maya goes above and beyond to make sure he’s not just looked after, but fully engaged and enriched. From extra-long walks and post-walk playtime, to using all his favorite puzzle feeders at mealtime, she makes sure he’s happy, active, and mentally stimulated. She’s also incredible at handling all his little quirks and making sure he feels completely comfortable. He absolutely lights up when he sees her, and it gives us such peace of mind knowing he’s in such caring and capable hands. On top of being a fantastic dog sitter, Maya is also an amazing house sitter for when we’re on longer trips. She’s respectful, tidy, and always leaves our home better than we left it! It’s so comforting to know everything is well taken care of while we’re away. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely passionate about animals, Maya is simply the best. We feel so lucky to have found her!

Schedule
I am currently in pharmacy school on rotations, usually from Monday through Friday during the morning to the afternoon. I am usually available all day during Saturdays and Sundays and if you’re in a pinch and need someone during evenings on weekdays, message me and I’ll let you know if I can help you out! I can usually respond by the end of the day.
