I work full-time Monday - Friday, so during the weekends I have plenty of free time to care for your animals. During the weekdays, I am often available for anything your animals would need in the morning between the hours of 5 and 7 am and in the afternoons between 5 and 7 pm.

I care for two cats (adopted as kittens) every day by replenishing their water each day, replenishing their dry food, feeding them each 1/2 can of wet food twice a day (once in the morning and once in the afternoon), and clean their litter box each day. We always make time for playing with them and their favorite toys at least three times a day. I often give them treats after they eat their wet food or while we play. I also like to leave bird food outside the windows so they can watch the birds (from a safe distance) during bird meal times.

I typically ask if any toys, treats, and catnip are available for playtime, and if your pets have any medication routines. I am experienced with providing pets medication of all kinds, from oral medications (inhalers, oral cremes, pills, and more) to topical (ear cremes, flea and tick medication, and more).
A typical day
With your pets, I will make sure they get the typical care routine they need, whether that means wet/dry food feeding, water fountain/bowl refills, or litter box cleaning. On top of this, I will make sure your pets get plenty of play time in. I typically ensure there are laser pointer playtime sessions or feather chasing sessions!

I have been taking care of dogs and cats alike since I got my first dog in grade school - I took full responsibility for his walks, food, water, playtime, and health and have always enjoyed spending time with animals. I have always been first to be asked by neighbors and friends to watch their puppies, kittens, older dogs, and older cats; I am incredibly experienced with taking care of animals of all ages.

Maya took wonderful care of our cat while we were out of town. She was very thorough and provided detailed updates and plenty of pictures during each check in. She is incredibly kind and clearly loves animals. We were very lucky to have someone so great taking care our cat. I would absolutely recommend Maya to take care of your pet and would request ger services again if we go out of town again. Cannot recommend her enough!

I was having new floorboards installed and varnished while I was out of town, and needed Maya to negotiate with the workmen to make sure Carlotta had access to her food and litterbox while keeping her away from the new floorboards. A lot to ask of a cat-sitter. But Maya came through as always. Best cat-sitter ever
