Hi! I’m already so excited to meet your dog (and you!). For many years, we sent our dog to daycare, and I witnessed how that experience seemed to traumatize him. He’d come back looking like a lost soul and give us the cold shoulder for days. But the second we started boarding him with our friends, he returned as energetic as when we left. I know the value of leaving your dog with a friend who will love them just as much as you do, and that’s my promise to you. I have cared for my family’s dog for over a decade, along with walking and boarding dogs for friends and neighbors alike. My priority is ensuring that your pet returns as happy as they left your home — I will do everything in my power to give your pet the best experience possible, and I’ll likely love them forever :)

Maya was extremely communicative and our little guy Charlie enjoyed the stay so much! She sent over daily pictures which were a pleasure to see at the end of each day and took great care of him.
Our dogs had a great stay at Maya’s place, they’re still tired a day later! Maya is very communicative and accommodating and sent us lots of pictures and updates of the dogs thriving. They seem like they had a great “vacation”. Thanks Maya!
Maya and Ryan took great care of my dog. She updated me frequently with texts and pictures and did a good job of sticking to the schedule that my dog is used to. Will definitely use her again!

Schedule
I work full time in office from 9-5 as of September 2026. However, I live with two roommates who are able to walk your lovely pet during the day! We’ve boarded multiple dogs and all of us have taken care of dogs for over a decade, so we promise to love your pet just as much as you do :) I will be able to walk your dog for an hour before and after work, and at whatever cadence works best for you. They can join me on coffee walks and all sorts of adventures as we explore Jamaica Pond, the Emerald Necklace, Fenway Fens, and other fabulous Boston parks.

I care for pets with love first. I am also a horseback rider, so I have an immense amount of experience around animals. I’ve learned that they are always communicating with us, and I know it’s my job to listen when they express a need. However, I also understand the importance of training and boundaries with pets. If they don’t go on your bed, they won’t go on mine. I will respect your wishes to ensure your pet stays happy and healthy.
A typical day
I love playing with any toys that your dog loves too! I will also give them plenty of cuddles — I miss my dog so much, and I’ve been dying to get around dogs again, so I’m truly thrilled at the prospect of hanging out with your pet too.
