I have been taking care of my dog for 10 years. She’s a small bichon dog, I bathe her, feed her and take her on walks. I also keep my neighbors dog when they go on vacation as well as friends dogs. I can easily walk them around Maastricht and parks. I also have a balcony for some fresh air. My apartment isn’t huge so I can only accommodate small dogs. I also know how to give medication and asthma treatments to dogs. On top of that, since I work full time from home, your dog will never be alone! They will have my full attention and care. I’m flexible when it comes to their needs and personality.

Maya looked after my dog during my vacation for a week. I was really reassured to know that my Yuki was in good hands. Maya sent me photos and videos of the different activities every day. Yuki and I say thank you to Maya. I recommend her 100%!
Maya is fantastic! She looked after Rose and Charlie for four days, and you can really tell how much she loves cats. She plays with them, cuddles them, and feeds them as if they were her own. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my cats. She is gentle, kind, caring, and attentive. Don’t hesitate to choose Maya!!!
Maya was a wonderful sitter for my cat Tony! She took care of him for a few days while I was out of town. She was always sending updates with how he was doing, including pictures and videos. It was nice knowing he was in good company. I’d highly recommend booking with Maya!

Schedule
I study from home, so I’m available and around practically all day. This means your pet will get plenty of attention, pets, cuddles, playtime, and company rather than being left alone for long periods. I’m very adaptable to each pet’s personality and routine, and I’m happy to follow specific feeding schedules, give medication at set times, or accommodate any other individual needs. Pets staying with me can enjoy the whole apartment and supervised time on my fully enclosed balcony. I can also come to your home to look after your pet there, depending on what works best for you and your pet. I’m very flexible and happy to adapt to your needs! I live in the city centre of Maastricht, which also makes it easy for me to get around the area.

Safety, trust & environment
I currently have one elderly cat who lives with me. She is very calm, quiet, and mostly spends her days sleeping, so she isn’t aggressive or overly energetic and is used to sharing her space peacefully. My apartment is a safe and comfortable environment for cats or, with plenty of space to roam, cat trees, cosy beds, toys, and everything they need to feel at home. They also have access to a completely enclosed and secure balcony, where they can safely enjoy some fresh air, relax on the little bench, or roll around on the patch of grass I’ve grown especially for them. I always prioritise your pet’s safety and wellbeing, and I make sure they’re supervised and comfortable while exploring their new surroundings.

A typical day
There’s a lot of parks and space around me so I can take your dog on a walk. They’ll be able to meet other dogs and have fun! I adapt to your dog’s energy levels and do multiple walks a day if necessary. I have plenty of beds, treats, toys and scratching posts for your cat! I adapt to their personality and needs so I will play plenty with them or simply leave them be to rest if that’s what they need. As a huge cat lover, I easily read cats body language and respect their boundaries.

If your pet stays at my home, they must be okay with the presence of another cat! We can always meet up or call before hand to get to know each other!
