Looking after dogs is something a really enjoy, for both the ease for the owner as well as enjoying and hanging out with the happy little friends. Fitting dog care into my week mixes up my routine and generally gets me outside more than not.

I have a two bedroom ground level apartment with great access to street walking, field walking and forest walking. I am also familiar with the Squamish area, as well as having my own transport, making it easy for me to stay where needed for the dog care.

A typical day
I enjoy taking dogs for long walks through forests or in the area they usually enjoy walking in. If they enjoy water I love taking them to lakes. If at home, fun mentally stimulating toys as well as scratches and cuddles are my go to.

I have always been a go to for friends, family and colleagues for their pet care needs. I am familiar with in house care, multi day care and of course the casual dog walk. I have some experience with more reactive dogs as well as old and young dogs.

Maya is the kind of person whose first instinct is to take care of others. Growing up alongside her, I’ve seen the way she treats people with compassion and kindness, as well as a an unflinching loyalty to her loved ones. She is knowledgeable and intelligent, with an incredible knack for understanding the needs of others. I’ve seen her with my nephew Oscar and she is a natural carer who knows the balance between kindness and respect.
