A lover of all cats and dogs!
I’ve been fortunate to have dogs in my life since I was 10 years old, growing up in a household where pets were cherished family members. My family had a particular love for pugs. From an early age, I learned the importance of caring for and bonding with animals, which instilled in me a lifelong passion for pet companionship. More recently, I’ve embraced the role of a cat dad, a title I wear with pride. Being a caregiver to both dogs and cats has taught me patience, empathy, and the joy that comes from building strong connections with pets of all kinds. My girlfriend and I are volunteers with Humane Rescue Alliance here in DC and believe all animals just need a little love!

I prioritize the comfort and well-being of pets by maintaining their regular routine as closely as possible. This includes feeding them at their usual times, ensuring they have fresh water, and following any specific dietary or medication instructions. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise based on their energy level and preferences.

Max was absolutely great with our cat Phoebe! He was super easy to communicate with, kept us up to date throughout the week on how she was doing each time he dropped by, and followed all of our instructions on taking care of her. We would love to have him watch Phoebe again in the future.
Maxwell walked Vitoria 3 times and he was super reliable and communicative! Our dog loved him and everything went great. I would hire him again and recommend him!

I would highly recommend Max with my own pets, as he is a conscientious, disciplined, hard working, and loving person. I have witnessed his interactions with his own pet as well as my own, and can definitively state he treats animals with love, respect and kindness. I have no doubt he will treat anyone's treasured pet the same way.
Max is a great guy who absolutely loves pets of all sorts. He is familiar with the care and feeding of cats and dogs, and is a gentle and patient person when it comes to dealing with a new pet. My dogs Ernie and Tank have completely separate personalities, Tank is very excited to meet new people, but Ernie take a lot more time to warm up to a stranger. But not with Max, he was able to form a trusting bond with both my dogs almost immediately. Did I mention he's a nice guy? I highly recommend him.

Schedule
I currently work for the Washington Nationals baseball organization and do not have a "regular" schedule. There will always be a time to drop in on your beloved kitties.
