Safety, trust & environment
I sit in your home. I do not board other animals at mine. I have two senior dogs and two reptiles, and your pets stay in their own territory — that’s safer for my seniors and calmer for yours. Clinic work is why medically complex pets are a fit, not a stretch: oral meds, insulin and other injections, First Aid/CPR. Pills, post-op care, and “is this an emergency or a weird quirk” are normal for me. If your dog needs two shots a day, I set alarms. If something looks off, you hear from me immediately. I follow your rules in your house — crate, gates, furniture, thermostat, alarm, trash, mail. I don’t treat your home like a hotel and your pet like a side task. Meet & greets are required for first-time overnights so your pet can interview me before you leave.

We have been using Max to care for our two dogs for many years now. He is reliable and caring. One of our dogs is not good with new people, but Max gave him the space and time he needed and now my dog loves Max! My dogs also get multiple medications, and Max always administers them appropriately and accurately. We always know when we go away that our dogs are in great hands with Max!
Max has been watching my furry kids for over 6 years. He is great at taking care of them and making sure they are ok. My one dog is diabetic and he’s great at giving him his shot 2x a day. He is super reasonable and my dogs are always so happy to see him. Max has stayed in my home with my fur babies for 3 weeks before as well as doing day checks, No matter the time or reason he is someone I can count on and trust. I highly recommend him as a pet sitter!

Schedule
I take a limited number of clients so I can actually keep your pet’s routine — same walk times, same feeding windows, same bedtime rituals. I’m studying occupational therapy. Class and clinic are on my calendar in advance, so when I accept a sit I am actually in your home or at your door, not squeezing you between a full boarder’s list. House sits: I stay overnight in your home. Drop-ins and walks: I book around real med and meal times, not whenever it’s convenient for me. Weekends and holiday windows are when I’m most open. I’m based in Medford. Walks and drop-ins stay inside about 15 miles so I can be on time. If you’re not sure I cover you, send the request anyway — I’ll be honest about drive time.

- Please send me this before the stay — a Rover message or a printed sheet on the counter is perfect. • Medication names, doses, times, and how they prefer to take them (pill pocket, hide in cheese, injection site, etc.) • Their true activity level — not the aspirational one. I will match energy, not overwhelm them • Anxiety triggers: doorbells, men with hats, other dogs, thunder, being left in a certain room • Feeding quirks, crate/gate setup, alarm codes, and who to call if something medical comes up (regular vet + the emergency clinic you actually use) • For cats: hiding spots, whether they eat with a human watching, and litter preferences • Anything that would make you say “I can’t believe the sitter didn’t know that” I am comfortable with oral meds, insulin, and other injections. The more specific you are, the closer the stay will feel to you being home.
