When I’m working from home or on weekends, your pup will get several backyard breaks during the day, plus one 30 min walk in the evening. If your dog will only go potty on leash/walks and won’t potty in the backyard at all, I’m not the right fit for you.

🐾 Boarding Services I only accept one client at a time to give your pup a safe, personalized experience. I sanitize all floors and pet supplies between stays. Your dog can enjoy access to interactive toys, puzzle games, a doggie pool, and even an iPad if they like watching shows such as Bluey or Siesta Dog TV. Please note: 1. For boarding stays longer than 3 consecutive days, a Meet & Greet at my home is required. 2. Dog owner drop-offs and pick-ups are not available between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM on weekdays. 3. For allergy safety reasons, I cannot care for dogs actively taking certain antibiotics. 4. I do not provide services for dogs that require injectable medication. 5. I do not accept female dogs that are in heat. 🧼 Grooming Add-Ons I’m not a licensed groomer, but I do offer basic grooming services as an add-on: • Bath with shampoo + conditioner (towel dry): $25 • Nail trim and/or sanitary trim: +$10 • Dog-safe nail polish: $2 If your dog has severe matting, I won’t be able to provide grooming. 🚗 Pick-Up & Drop-Off Services I offer pet transportation for $50 each way. A Meet & Greet is required before the first transport. Note: I do not enter clients’ homes. • New clients: Owners must be present at pick-up and drop-off. • Repeat clients: Owners may be eligible for exceptions. Availability for Transportation: • Weekdays: After 5:00 PM • Weekends: Flexible • Service area: Within 5 miles of zip code 33607 🕒 Non-negotiable Three Day Cancellation Policy “Clients get a full refund if they cancel by noon 3 days before the stay starts. After that, they get a 50% refund on the first 7 cancelled days and 100% refund on any days after that.” 💰Pricing Transparency I want pricing to be clear and upfront so there are no surprises when you send a booking request. Please note: Rover automatically adds an 11% service fee plus applicable taxes at checkout. The base price you see on my profile does not include those fees. Here’s how my pricing works: Standard Boarding • One dog: $50 per night + Rover’s 11% service fee + taxes • Multiple dogs: • First dog: $50 per night + fees & taxes • Each additional dog: $40 per night + fees & taxes Puppies • One puppy: $175 per night + Rover’s 11% service fee + taxes (Puppies require significantly more time, supervision, and care.) Holidays • One dog: $75 per night + Rover’s 11% service fee + taxes (Holiday rates apply to major holidays and surrounding dates.) Because Rover applies these adjustments automatically, the total price may increase when you click “Book,” especially for holidays, puppies, or multiple dogs. If you have questions about your total before booking, feel free to message me. I’m always happy to clarify.

Information Maxine S. would like to know about your pet
Got a quirky pup? Escape artist? Whether they have allergies or if they don’t vibe with vacuum cleaners, thunder, etc…PLEASE tell me everything so I can be prepared to take the best care of them. Please also to be sure to have your furbaby’s profile up-to-date with their feeding schedule as well as their vet information and a backup contact in case of emergencies. For safety reasons, I’m unable to care for dogs actively taking certain antibiotics, specifically doxycycline, due to a severe allergy. Please share your dog’s medications when booking so we can make sure it’s safe for me to host them. Please make sure the drop-off and pick-up times selected during booking are as accurate as possible. I schedule my workday, appointments, and other pet stays around those times, so major changes or late arrivals/pickups can affect the flow of the day for everyone in my care. If your schedule changes, just communicate with me as early as possible so we can work something out together.
A typical day
Your dog will be safe, loved, and treated like one of my own from start to finish. Each day is structured to keep your dog safe, engaged, and comfortable in a calm, home based setting. We can begin the day with snuggles, followed by breakfast (if scheduled), a bathroom break, and supervised outdoor play in a secure fenced yard. Throughout the day, your dog will receive individualized attention, enrichment activities, and regular potty breaks. I incorporate interactive toys, mental stimulation, and rest periods based on your pup’s energy level and needs. Cuddle breaks are part of the routine (if your pup is into that). In the evening, we can go for a walk (if weather permits) and eventually wrap up with a final potty break before bedtime.

I’m Maxine, a dog loving nerd with over 20 years of experience caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and personalities. As a professional dog sitter, I’m fully insured and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and calm environment for every dog in my care. Otherwise, I’m fully available the rest of the week for bookings with full-time supervision. I provide 3 updates about your furbaby between 8am and 8pm. Every pet parent is different, so if you’d like more or fewer updates, just tell me ahead of time and I’ll adjust.
Reviews

Maxine is the best! She always takes such fantastic care of my boys, as if they were her own. She puts their comfort above all else and is fantastic at communication and pictures. My dogs love her!

If I could give Maxine more than 5 stars I would. I am so glad I found her. Not only is she the sweetest but you never have to worry about your fur baby. Being new to the city I thought I would be hard to find a sitter but no, she is heaven sent. Not only is she organized but she communicates well. Worry free and hassle free. She’s so accommodating and just the best place for a fur baby to feel at home. Blaze and I love her! Forever rebooking 💜

Bella stayed with Maxine for two weeks while I was away for my destination wedding, and I never had to worry about her for a second. Maxine sent regular updates and plenty of photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. Being able to fully enjoy my wedding without worrying about my doggy baby’s well-being was truly priceless. I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with Bella. And the little fashion shows always made me smile! Thank you so much, Maxine, for taking such wonderful care of her.

Maxine was absolutely amazing with Winston! She took such great care of him and went above and beyond by dressing him up and sending us daily photo updates, which we loved so much. It gave us total peace of mind while we were away. You can tell she genuinely cares—highly recommend!
