Originally from Canada, I've been living in London since September while completing my Master's at King's College London. At home, I currently have one dog (Wally), whom I miss every day, which inspired me to get back onto Rover after taking a few years off while I was working full-time. My family has had several rescue dogs over the years, and also fostered several dogs. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Maxine was great - from the communication throughout to her availability and dog friendly nature. You can tell she loves dogs and understands the needs of a dog parent.
Was lovely to have Maxine taking care of our greyhound Ramon! She was quick to respond- sent us daily updates. Maxine was very responsible. I would highly recommend her. It was very reassuring having her take care of Ramon.
Maxine was able to take Titus last minute as our original sitter had to cancel. I appreciate her quick and professional response as well as her timely attendance to the meet up prior to the start of Titus' stay. She sent photos of Titus during his stay which was greatly appreciated and Titus came back a tired pup! I'd definitely recommend Maxine!
Maxine took care of my dog on multiple occasions and every time I’ve been extremely satisfied. She always sends pictures, stays updated, and has kept my dogs happy and healthy. She’s super sweet and friendly, can’t recommend her enough!!
Maxine is a very enthusiastic and loving dog caregiver. She is very reliable and punctual, and goes above and beyond to ensure that the needs of the pet are met. Her calm manner and easy relationship with her own dogs enable her to create a bond quickly with other peoples pets.

She has helped me by fostering dogs coming up from US kill shelters while they have looked for their forever homes here in Vancouver as well as loving and caring for 2 rescue dogs of her own. Maxine is very hardworking at school and has many accomplishments as an elite athlete which speaks to her character. I fully trust that Maxine would be an excellent dog walker or pet sitter.

Schedule
I am currently a student and completing a consulting/dissertation project over the summer, so I have a flexible schedule to accommodate during the week or weekends.

I am in an apartment building and as such, would only be able to take small/low-energy dogs at my own place since there is no backyard.
A typical day
I understand that each dog is different and some need long walks, mental stimulation, or lots of cuddles. I live in Fulham and am surrounded by tons of parks and greenspace which is dog heaven.
