I'm a lifelong pet owner, including horses, cats and - most notably - dogs. I've raised and cared for three dogs from puppies through to old age, plus adopting one rescue dog. These have been Alsatians, Welsh Collies and (we think!) some kind of Whippet/ Saluki cross. I've also got plenty of experience with a range of other breeds through friends and family. I understand that the most important thing for your own and your pet's happiness is to support your care and training approach, and am committed to working with you to keep everyone's tails wagging!
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
Within your home, I would look to maintain a normal routine as much as possible to minimise any impact on your dog. I am happy to dispense medication, as well as feed, entertain and walk. I can also water plants and provide basic care for other pets if required. I understand and respect that this is your home, and would look to return it to you in the same condition it was in at the beginning of the visit.

Maxine is lovely and Stevie was immediately comfortable with her. Shared photos and great communication. Would absolutely recommend her!
Max was wonderful ! She helped us out when we needed a sitter at the last minute. Willow our rescue pup can be nervous around new people but warmed up to Max immediately. Max took care of her during the day, took her on several walks and kept us updated rhoigour the day. Will definitely be working with her again in the future.
Maxine was amazing - cannot recommend her enough! We had a situation arise at last minute and needed a dog sitter.. I sent out a dozen messages to find someone. Maxine answered very quickly and said she was available.. we then had a clear conversation about my/my dogs needs where Maxine was responsive and reassuring. She arrived on time, was professional and very pleasant to talk to. My dog was very quickly comfortable with her and she recapped everything we'd spoke about previously and again I felt reassured. After a few hours she sent an update that all was well and a picture of my girl cuddled up next to her.. we had no worries that she was in the best of hands. When we returned there were no issues and another nice conversation where she debriefed us of the sitting and it was all good. My dog who is fairly anxious was completely calm when we saw her and was even sad to see Maxine go. So again.. Thank you Maxine for helping us out and anyone reading this looking for a quality sitter, look no further!
Max is really great with dogs. My setter Mable absolutely loves her. She's walked and dog sat for Mable and always does a great job.

Schedule
I work flexibly from home, so can generally be very flexible in terms of availability. The only day with limited availability is a Sunday, due to family commitments, but otherwise can work around your schedule.
