I’ve been caring for dogs, cats, fish, turtles (you name it!) for over 10 years. Starting with neighbors and family pets and continuing through friends and referrals. I’m very attentive, responsible, and calm, which helps dogs, and all animals, feel safe and comfortable around me. I understand that every pet has a different personality and routine, and I always follow care instructions closely, whether that includes feeding schedules, medications, long walks, or extra cuddle time. I treat every pet like they’re my own and make sure owners feel fully at ease while they’re away.

Maxine is so kind and caring. I went on a cruise and felt so relaxed knowing how attentive Maxine is. My 2 girls both 10 1/2 years old immediately settled in while she and I were talking. They investigated every room! Maxine sent me pictures of them all over her house. At a park playing with a ball. They were at Maxine’s home for 11 days. The pictures were so comforting. They looked so happy.
Maxine was awesome in every way with taking care of our energetic Portuguese Water Dog - Tilly. She sent pictures of all her activities and thoroughly engaged and entertained Tilly’s appetite for attention and activity. Highly recommend Maxine

Schedule
I work from home full-time as a software engineer, so I’m home throughout the day and able to provide consistent supervision and attention. Your pet will not be left alone for long periods. My flexible schedule allows for regular walks, playtime, feeding routines, and plenty of companionship. I’m available weekdays and weekends and can accommodate most schedules with advance notice.

I live in a quiet gated community with a fully fenced running space for dogs and access to plenty of safe walking and running space. I’m right next to a park, which makes daily walks and outdoor time easy and enjoyable. Inside, pets have a calm, clean environment with lots of supervision since I work from home.
A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs with toys, treats, and long walks throughout the neighborhood! I live next to a nature preserve so there are tons of new smalls for your fur baby to explore.
