Maxine's Loving Dog Care
I would love to have the opportunity to love and care for your babies. I am caring and compassionate and love animals. I am trustworthy, reliable and fairly flexible. Dogs would have full access to my patio area, but would have to be put on a leash to be taken for walks, etc. Inside, they would have free roam of the house and be allowed on furniture. I am a retired RN. I attend exercise classes three to five days a week and do some volunteering for Richardson Methodist Hospital through my church. Most of my activities or obligations are in the morning, leaving most afternoons, evenings and weekends free. Please be assured that I would have plenty of playtime with your dog and give them my undivided attention.

I’m so thankful I found Maxine to take care of Oliver while I was away for three weeks. Leaving him for that long was honestly one of the things I was most nervous about, but Maxine made me feel so much better by keeping me updated and letting me know how he was doing. Oliver can be a little particular when meeting other dogs, so I really appreciated Maxine’s patience with him and her willingness to work through his personality. She was also incredibly understanding when my flight home was delayed. Most importantly, I could tell Oliver was cared for and loved while I was gone. Coming home to him happy and excited to see me was the best feeling. I’m really grateful to Maxine for taking such good care of my little guy and giving me peace of mind while I was traveling. I would absolutely trust her with Oliver again!
This was our first time trying Rover so we were a bit nervous prior to booking. But, we are SO thankful we found Maxine! She was kind enough to do a brief Meet and Greet beforehand. Milo had the best time staying with Maxine. She took such good care of him and sent us updates and photos.
It’s always a pleasure for both me and my pet when Maxine watches him! She is so kind, caring and patient and provides daily photos and updates.
Maxine was absolutely wonderful! She took such good care of Welly while we were away. She provided daily updates, which I was very grateful for and Welly always looked well cared for. We will definitely be rebooking with Maxine in the future.
We love Maxine! Our ole Lady girl is elderly and Maxine takes such good care of her. She sends me updates and asks questions to ensure Lady is comfortable. Lady comes back healthy and happy.
Another great experience with Maxine! Second time to use her and will plan our future travels around her availability because we know it’s a smooth experience. :)

Schedule
I am retired, so I'm able to board dogs overnight or for daycare only. I spend a lot of time with them, giving them lots of love and attention.

Safety, trust & environment
I try to follow the dogs usual routine, so as to make them more comfortable. I have a fenced in patio so they can run free and put a lease on them for walks. Not knowing how they may react with other dogs, I turn around if I see another dog being walked, to prevent a possible altercation.
A typical day
I live near a creek with a nice path. The area has a lot of grass and trees and is away from traffic noise. There's plenty of space to sniff and explore.
