Lifelong Dog Lover
Dogs have always been a big part of my life. Growing up with two wonderful Labrador Retrievers gave me years of hands-on experience and a real appreciation for the care, exercise, and companionship dogs need. I’ve also spent time around my grandmother’s Border Collies and helped a friend with Rover dog sitting. With a large, secure garden and beautiful riverside walks right on our doorstep, your dog will have plenty of space to play, explore, and feel at home.

Max has always been brilliant with dogs after growing up around two different Labradors. He recently lost his black Labrador, who had a very happy life and was absolutely spoiled. Max has a huge back garden for your dog to run around and play. He has also just come back from long-term backpacking and has deliberately decided not to immediately return to full time work so that he can enjoy life by dog sitting. This means your dog will have his full love and attention throughout their stay.
I've known Max for over 10 years, and he's looked after my dog many times over the years. I trust him completely, and my dog absolutely loves spending time with him. Max is incredibly kind, reliable and genuinely passionate about animals. He always goes the extra mile to make sure pets are happy, comfortable and well cared for, treating them as if they were his own. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, responsible and loving pet caregiver. Any pet would be lucky to have Max looking after them.

Schedule
After recently returning from a seven-month trip around South America, I have a flexible schedule while I search for my next career opportunity. This means I can dedicate plenty of time, attention, and care to your pet. Since losing our family Labrador, I’ve really missed having a dog around, so I genuinely enjoy every opportunity to get out for walks, play, and spend quality time with dogs of all ages and personalities.

Your pet’s safety, happiness, and routine will always be my top priority. I live in a safe, welcoming home with a large, secure garden and beautiful riverside walks right on our doorstep, giving dogs plenty of space to exercise and explore. I’ll always follow your instructions closely, keep to your pet’s usual routine, and provide regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they’re in safe and caring hands.
A typical day
A typical day with me is centred around keeping your dog happy, active, and relaxed. We’ll enjoy walks along the beautiful riverside paths right on our doorstep, with plenty of time to explore, sniff, and play. Back at home, there’s a large, secure garden for more outdoor fun, as well as a spacious, comfortable house where your dog can settle in and feel part of the family. Every day is tailored to your dog’s routine, energy level, and personality, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and right at home.
