We work from home so we are with your pet practically 24/7. Our routine is very dog-friendly. Rex, our own dog, has been with Rover dogs over nany years amd is very accommodating to other dog’s needs.

A typical day
Daily we typically hike on the trails in Richmond Hill Park or the grounds of the UNCA Observatory. And don’t worry, we take extra care of your dog during these outings.

Pet care experience
Experienced pet-lovers hosting on-site and in home practically 24/7: We'll look after only 1 family's pets at a time. Your dog(s) will be the center of attention and have a ready and willing partner in crime as we have a Vizsla who loves to play! I have been a dog-owner for most of my life (49 years!) and have a lot of experience to provide your pet with everything they need for a stress-free, fun "pup-cation". (I've even built a website for a large pet shelter overseas.) We ask that you bring your own dog food/bowls so that your dog won't need to eat anything they aren't used to and their own leash/collar. The rest we'll have on hand. We have trails close to the house where we can take your dog(s) for real exercise and socializing. Our home is a loving environment with our 16 year old child, mom Gaby, and myself, Max. Both of us work from home every day so there is generally someone in the house 24 hours per day. We look forward to taking care of your pet with 100% attention and making them feel at home while you are out of town. We can discuss your pet's special needs and ensure that you are comfortable so that you can enjoy your trip away from your pet without any worries.

Max helped out immensely with our last-minute request. He took great care of our pup and was very kind and accommodating. We felt good knowing our puppy was in such good hands!
Max and his family watched after my mother in laws dog for 7 nights while we traveled together. My MIL loves her dog and interviewed several Rover sitters before deciding on Max. Arrangements for pick up and drop off were easy with good communication and very accomodating. We received several photos and updates during the week and overall my MIL was very pleased with her experience and said she would be certain to use them again.
Max and his wife took such great care of my wild pup, 1 yr old Irish setter. I got videos and picture messages that kept me updated throughout the day which I loved. Their dog Rex is such a sweetheart and played with my high energy pup so much that he returned somewhat tired which is extremely difficult to achieve. We will definitely use them again if we are back in the Asheville area.
