We are a couple that loves animals of all shapes and sizes! We both grew up caring for numerous family dogs (and other critters) of varying breeds and personalities. We will provide compassionate care and prioritize your pet’s individual needs. We live in a spacious house with a large, fully-fenced backyard in a quiet, walkable neighborhood. We believe in utilizing positive reinforcement, such as treats and play, to help a dog thrive and ensure that they have a great experience in our care. We are both versed in dog body language and behavior, and have experience working with reactive and nervous dogs. We have our own pup, Penny, who is friendly with other dogs but can also be kept separately if your dog needs its own space. We are athletic and outdoorsy, so we will be able to stay active with your dogs and take them on runs, hikes, and long walks to make sure their needs are met. We also love a mellow dog that just likes slow jaunts or to snuggle up on the couch. We are only a short distance to several parks and outdoor areas. We both carried our passion for animals into our professional careers, where we both work as wildlife biologists. Ashley has volunteered at animal shelters and we have both been professionally trained in animal care. Animals are always a central part of our lives!
