Care For Your Four-legged Friends.
I’ve been around pets my whole life and have owned four of my own over the years. I’ve also cared for countless others through Rover, friends, and family. I’m a super active and athletic person, a former elite triathlete, so staying on the move is second nature to me. And moving with animals is even better! But when it’s time to slow down, I love cozying up and cuddling with them just as much. I’m originally from Costa Rica, and my wife is Swedish. Together, we absolutely adore all dogs and cats, no matter the breed, age, or personality. For us, Rover is a wonderful way to meet all kinds of pets and spend quality time with them. I promise to care for your best friend as if they were my own.

Mauricio var väldigt vänlig och bra med hundarna. Vi träffades innan han skulle passa hundarna. Så överföringen när jag skulle gå gick smidigt, mjuk energi vilket krävs för att den äldre hunden skall känna sig väl. De ha r promenerat i mina gamla kvarter , så hundarna kände sig hemma. Fick karta över de promenader de hade gått. Jag fick också foton av mina pälsklingar, såg att ha det riktigt bra roligt foto, den äldre hunden mycket avslappnad. Alltid glad när jag ser att hundarna trivs med hundvakten / vaktarna. Lämnar dem gärna igen till den hundvane och vänlige hundvakten.
This was my first time leaving my pup with someone after relocating to Stockholm, and I can’t express how much of a relief it was to have found Mauricio! I could tell Margo was super happy with her stay and I got loads of amazing updates during my trip. Will definitely use Mauricio again!

Schedule
I currently work part-time (and sometimes even less) from home, so I have plenty of availability — including some full days off each week. My wife also works from home and has a very flexible schedule, so there’s always someone around to give your dog attention, company and care. Spending time with pets is the perfect way to bring some joy and balance to life here in Sweden, especially during the darker, colder months.

Safety, trust & environment
We live in a gated community surrounded by plenty of green areas and the big “Västra Skogen” forest just around the corner. Also there are two large, safe dog parks “Ekelunds Hundrastgård” only a few steps from our home — both fenced and perfect for playtime, training or exercise. I love to walk along the canal “Karlberg Strand” and “Huvudsta strandpromenad” with water and nature around. Our home is about 70 square meters, with a spacious glass-covered balcony where dogs can safely relax and enjoy some fresh air. It’s just me and my wife — no kids or other pets — so your best friend will get all the attention and care they deserve. We’re both 34 years old and fluent in English, Swedish, and Spanish.
A typical day
As I mentioned before, I usually take pets to the beautiful green areas near the water canal close to our home or along the forest trails nearby. I always look for calm, spacious places surrounded by nature where pets can relax and enjoy themselves. We’re lucky to have great forests and two fenced dog parks in the area, perfect for giving them some safe off-leash time and the chance to socialize with others — if that’s something they enjoy and their owners allow.
