I work full time in this area, so I can fit in house visits and dog walking near the Promenade in Scottsdale. I prefer to book pet sitting in this area as well. I live in North Phoenix by Happy Valley.

I have no breed preferences as long as initial meetings go well with the dog. The main things I would like to know about a dog are how well they have been socialized (are they good with other dogs), have they had any other dogs be aggresive toward them, and do they have any food aggression or known triggers.. Also if you'd like me to work on commands, just show me what to work on and I can reinforce training.
A typical day
I can take your pup around your neighborhood and really anywhere you are comfortable letting me take your pet. I'm open to activities with their toys like tug-of-war, frisbee, ball, and water activities if you're open to it and the pet is comfortable with it.

I have loved animals my entire life. I'm typically the person friends ask to watch their animals - dogs and cats alike - as I am comfortable with both. I volunteered at a cat shelter for 2 years and have leash trained and worked with dogs on commands/discipline for the last 3-4 years on and off with friend/family pets. I genuinely love dogs and would like to channel that energy into taking care of other people's dogs - the benefits of dog ownership, without actually owning a dog!

We’ve now had Maurica visit our cats on two separate occasions and she’s awesome! She treats our cats just as we would if we were there and is always great to send photos and respond to messages. She leaves our home much neater than our last sitter did and has been very trustworthy with our house keys. Definitely keeping her on our contact list!
Maurica took excellent care of our baby, and our house. We appreciated her videos and updates. Plus, our Ava adores Maurica!!

Maurica went above and beyond to take care of my two cats for an entire week! One of my cats has health issues and the other has major anxiety and Maurica did an amazing job tending to both of them. She provides lots of updates, videos and photos. I’m so happy to have found a great pet sitter!
