I have been around pets my whole life and know how to read their body language. I am respectful if they need space and let them warm up to me. My family had large dogs and cats growing up that I helped care for and train. I helped care for 3 litters of puppies and I trained the puppies we kept. I also had a cat who was spoiled with love and lots of playtime.

I love cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes. I will love your pet like my own! I truly enjoy taking care of cats and dogs and giving them lots of play and affection. I always respect their space if they are afraid, but I am skilled at earning their trust and helping them warm up to me.
Ratings and reviews
Maureen stayed with our dogs for four days. I have no complaints. She kept in contact with us during that time. My house was in the same shape as when she left. I was comfortable leaving the dogs with her. I will call again when needed.
Maureen stayed in our home to care for our two dogs while we were away. Our elderly beagle/jack russel had severe separation anxiety, but we were able to leave knowing that Maureen would give him all the cuddles and attention to help him feel comfortable. Our younger chiweenie also really loved when Maureen stayed with them. She texted us updates and pics regularly, and asked questions if there were any concerns. If we still lived in the area, we would absolutely ask Maureen to pup-sit, and definitely recommend asking Maureen to care for your pups!
Maureen is an avid animal lover who has had animals throughout her life, and she loved them so much that she even pursued a degree in biology with a master in ornithology (bird specialization). Whenever she comes over, my cats and dogs rush towards her, and they receive all the love they could have hoped for. She also has experience in assisting in the birth and rearing of multiple puppy litters. Maureen is a kind, polite, responsible, and hardworking, and she is the first person I would call to watch my leopard gecko, fish, cats, and dog.
Maureen is excellent with all kinds of pets! She grew up with dogs and loves them. I've seen her be playful and respectful with other people's dogs and I know she has signed up to be a dog walker for the Humane Society before. Maureen was a go-to dog sitter when we lived in the same town together, so that should attest to her ability as a great dog caregiver.
Maureen is amazing! She is incredibly loving and highly responsible with animals. I would often ask her to care for my cat when I was out of town, and my cat was always thoroughly loved and well-cared for!

Schedule
I work at a school and don't work during the summer, so I am very flexible. During the school year my availability will be afternoons/evenings on weekdays.
