Here at Happy Hounds, we have been caring for fur-babies for over 14 years; though we no longer offer dog boarding. We do still continue to offer drop in home visits for all furry animals and also dog walking services. Plus cat visits too. I also have experience with extensive care in elderly fur babies. We recently had to make a very tough decision to allow our Mia to peacefully leave us. She lived her best life of 16 plus years. We miss her so much. 💔 For thirty plus years my husband and I have been surrounded by furry family members, we also have been involved with fostering dogs. Offering home boarding and home visits these past several years has been such a rewarding experience and a great opportunity while meeting so many wonderful pet owners and their fur babies!

Your furry family members daily routine will be discussed in advance with details and suggestions for a comfortable visit. Included information: feeding schedules, potty breaks, play time, meds to administer, emergency contact, etc. Fyi: I'm always available for visits Monday-Friday and on most weekends. Services typically include visits while families vacation or work. Also, regular on-going weekday work schedules are accommodated for daily visits.
A typical day
Our walks take place around the neighborhood. Other activities include playing fetch in the yard, ball or frisbee or playing with pups/cats favorite toy. For those fur-babies that prefer quiet time, suggestions are always welcomed to suit your furry family member. Every visit includes an update and photo.

Some furry family members prefer staying in their own surroundings while in their own comfortable space while their humans are away. All family animals/pets accepted for care.
